There were several closeout items in HBA today that matched up with coupons to make each item "cents" each. For example: Infusium (2.99 - 2.00 q .99 oop), Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine 2 n 1 conditioner, Loreal Kids Burst of Watermelon Extra Gentle 2-in-1 Shampoo (1.49 - .75 - I think) and Vive Pro Nutri Gloss 2.34 (I used BoGo and 1.00 off so .67 oop ea).

**ALSO....Herbal Essences is on sale for 2.24 and there is a 2.00 man q out there right now. I wasn't sure if it would beep for size, but it didn't.

(I also noticed that the Bic Soleil were closeout for 3.99 from 5.99 and there are 2.00 man q's out there - in case someone really loves these!)

i see you can use a $ off and bogo coupon together in one transaction and it didnt beep? wow, thats great if its true, thanks

Using a BOGO q & $$/1 q together is a YMMV issue. It really depends on the exact wording of the q & how you interpret it. I have never done this at Food Lion, but it is policy at my Rite Aid to allow 1 manu q per item. So I can use a BOGO & a $$/1 q. But you couldn't use a q for $$/2 & a BOGO q, unless you got 3 items. Hope that isn't confusing!

I asked first and was told that management at each store enforces rules differently, but at mine... they encourage coupon users and will bend over backwards for that extra business. (Especially since they are being reimbursed for the coupons plus some)

If I am EVER in doubt about something I always ask first so it doesn't look like I'm trying to be sneaky.

i went 2day and used the bogo with the $5 one and the register wouldnt take it so i paid 4.73 for two, think that i needed to add something to my order tor it to work, i will try over the weekend with other items in my transaction

At my FL select types of Sunsilk shampoo and conditioner are on closeout for 1.79 and if you use the 1.50/1 (i think the q expires 10/10/08) you get them for .29!
