Usually my Rite Aid does give overage.

This week the Freestyle Lite meter is in sale for $9.99. I found a magazine in the back of the store by the pharmacy. It had coupons in it. One of them was $45 off the Freestyle Lite meter. If I buy more than $45 worth of stuff, do you think the coupon will beep? It is a Man Coupon, but has the Rite Aid barcode, good on at Rite Aid. Usually as long as the coupon scans, the cashiers take it.

Just wondering what others think will happen in this situation.

Thank you for your advice! I don't want to fill my cart expecting overage and then get to the counter and NOT get the overage and have to put all the things back that I can't afford.

One of the meters that is 75.00 was on sale a few weeks ago for 19.99 and that is what got taken off. The sale price rings up and when the cashier scanned the coupon and it said to put in the price, he put in the sale price because that is what he had to go by on his screen.

Might as well try it. You should get all the items that are FAR. That way..either way you get them for free.
