returning clearance items
I bought this vegetable chopper on clearance for $1.99 at CVS, and it is beyond crappy. It makes this hideously loud sqeaky noise when you push down. It's not used or anything, but it was on clearance so I dont know what their policy is on returning clearance items. I know it's only $1.99, but $1.99 is still $1.99 and Im NEVER going to use that chopper!

I'm not sure what the corp policy is, but in the stores around me they have signs saying that you cannot return clearance. So I think you may be out your $1.99.

Clearance sales are final. That's why it's clearance.

Some stores still let you return it though.

Only way to find out will be to ask.
