Ok so this is what I did....

I bought 1 jar Jif PB with store coupon 1.99 and a man. coupon of .35 making OOP1.64
I bought a drink (reg price...I was too thirsty) OOP 1.29
Colgate on clearance 1.69 with a .75 man. coupon OOP .94
Shick extreme razors (4 pack with 2 bonus) 4.99 on sale with 2.00 coupon making OOP 2.99
Closeout sugar free creamsavers candy 1.19
Closeout sugar free whitmans candy 1.29
Sunsilk Shampoo and conditioner (shampoo had free mouse with it and conditioner was 33% more free) B1G1 2/4.29 with a 2.00 coupon making OOP 2.29
Glade CLN PET ( didn't do as well on this one...didn't realize I needed the coupon in a book to make it 1.99) I got this for 2.99 and had a 1.50 coupon making it OOP 1.49
Oust( same as above didn't have the coupon in WG book) Bought for 2.99 with 1.00 coupon making OOP 1.99
Degree Deodorant on sale for 1.99 used a 1.00 coupon making OOP .99
Bought the Crest deal for 4.49 and got a 4.50 RR so I guess I made .01 on that???
Bought 4 bags of Chex on sale for .99 with 4/.50 coupons making them .49 a bag for total OOP 1.96
Clearance ponytail holders (Scunci with like 300 of them in the bag) .75 OOP

I spent 26.51 on my items with a RR of 4.50 so....22.01

I'm just learning and getting started so I think I could have done better but..I was still excited. I went tonight and tried to print out the $3 coupons for Robitussin but it only let me print a $1 coupon...hmmmm

Any suggestions on how I could do better???

You did really good, at first your totals are always a little higher than you'd like, especially if you don't have any RR's to help out. You have some now, so your next trip your OOP should be lower. You will get into a cycle where you will start making RR's, spending them to make more, and the cycle continues!

My personal goal is to try and get things for free, or VERY little OOP. I also have started buying items I may not necessarily use (like 3 Robitussins) if I have a q, and I get RR's. I can always donate the items. I don't know why you couldn't print the $3 Robitussin q's. Did you go to the link posted in the main thread about the Robitussin deal? You fill out your name, etc and it should let you print as many as you want. I just did this yesterday. My OOP yesterday was $17 and I got $14.50 back (posted my trip yesterday). I only like to buy items if I can get RR's AND have a coupon. I was able to use $10 of the RR's I made to get free diapers since they were clearanced to $5 a pack! My personal goal with shopping at Wags and CVS is to make money to buy my kiddos diapers/wipes since they are both still in them! (Also to get as many free toiletries, etc that I can!) We are trying to save $ for a house.
