NEWBIES: Please post all your WAGS questions here!

I've noticed that we've been getting a lot of Newbie questions lately. I think that's GREAT that we are getting new activity (the more members posting, the more deals we can find!!), but at the same time we are getting the same questions asked 3-4 times which can clutter the board. I figured if we do one thread, everyone can ask there questions here and scroll through to see if someone else has already asked and had that question answered.

So, let's try it out and ask all of our questions (big or small!) in this thread here so we can keep a running tally. Also, as another resource, don't forget this thread as well: http://www.afullcup.com/forums/walgr...walgreens.html

Thanks!

To trade coupons you would create a post in the FSOT forum. If you check out the forum you can see how others have listed theirs to get some ideas. You should also check out this thread: http://www.afullcup.com/forums/sale-...nes-rules.html. Most members have wishlists so you can see what they are looking for. You can also create a wishlist so people can see what coupons you are looking for. What you ask for varies, most people will "pay" a handling fee up to 10% of face value or if you are trading coupons for coupons most people will try to do $ for $.

As justmelome said, I don't know of any WAGs that will accept expired coupons.

As theirfavoritemommy said, you have until Saturday to submit your rebates. However, people have been successful submitting their rebates a month or two late. YMMV on that so I wouldn't count on it though. Also keep in mind that your purchases had to be made during the rebate period, regardless of when you submit it.

Ideally you will see a sign on the shelf or get a print out at the register. If not, it's a matter of trying it to see if it will work or see what other posters have to say about it.

YMMV. Most Walgreens will allow you to use a MFR with their store coupons. No one has reported a problem with the In-flyer coupons when using Mfr coupons. Some people have reported that they aren't allowed to use an IVC from the ESC with Mfr coupons since they now say "mfr coupons" on them. The register is programmed to accept both though and I have never had a problem.

My problem is this. I went last week to buy the b1g1 free glade and bought 4. I used 1 b1g1 free coupon and I used 1 $4 off. I should have gotten 3 free and one really cheap. When I looked at my receipt I seen that I was charged for all 4. The manager told me that it was because I used coupons.

This doesn't sound right to me! Has anyone else had this happen to them or even heard that they can do this? I called customer service and was told someone would be contacting me,.

I was in a hurry at the time and plan on returning a few. I don't plan on shopping there in the future.
No, that is not true. Whether or not something rings up B1G1 has nothing to do with coupons. I think they had a problem with the glade last week because I just looked at my receipt and I was charged full price for both of the ones I bought as well.

Corporate policy is that you can use more than 1 RR in a transaction so long as you have as many items as coupons (including RR and mfr). Some stores limit you to one though.

Hope that makes sense....
Response from Joshmamabear: yes, since the balance on 3 robitussin if you use 3 $3 IPS will be 2.97, you can use a $3 Kraft/milk RR but make sure you get a candy filler like the halloween candy @ .39 after IVC to make sure the RR will go through. if not, use a smaller RR like the excedrin RR but if you're not buying anything else, don't use the 4.50 Crest RR, it will say exceed amount.

I think it'll work (cross your fingers, though ) I've used the $1 excedrin RR to pay for the Crest mouthwash, I got the $4.50 RR.

in instances where it doesn't work, don't hesitate to ask for the AM/SM, hopefully they will/fix it for you. I experience some variants of the Robitussin are not programmed so beware. What the SM did for me was scan the Robitussin DM 3x and the RR printed. if it still don't print, request for either a store credit on a W card or IOU written on your receipt for $10 you can use on your next store visit.

Click this link: https://www.walgreens.com/login.jsp;...questid=205731 log in and it should let you do your sept. rebates. Remember to click save and return later rather than submit if you want to be able to add in more receipts this month!

YMMV, but as a general rule, yes they do.

You need to buy them separately. You can only get 1 of the same time of RR per transaction. You can buy the robitussin and the crest together and get both RRs though.

Thanks to all the Wags veterans who are helping us newbies!!!
Yes, you should be able to. They will price adjust your items to the sale price so the raincheck should not count as a coupon.

Not a dumb question at all. You do not need to sign up to receive RRs. You get them automatically (assuming the machine is working right at least!) when you buy the qualifying items. There is no "member card" like at CVS which is why you can do the transactions multiple times.

YMMV. Each store has the right to limit the number of IP coupons (or even SS coupons) you can use. I'd be surprised if they say you can't use 7 of the scrubbing bubbles coupons, but it's a possibility if you have a coupon leery store.

I think you have until Saturday to submit August rebates. Check on Walgreens.com - Online pharmacy & drugstore, prescriptions, health information, photo center in the Easy Saver Rebates section.

No walgreens I have ever been into accepts expired coupons. Usually next weeks ad gets posted here as a sticky at the top of the forum but if not I just google the store and dates in and it comes up from other sites.

Trying to plan my shopping scenerio today. I will be using some RR's but everything I am buying I have MFC's for also so I know I need to have some fillers as the RR's count as mfc's and you cannot have less items than coupons or it will not accept RR or cancel them.
So, if I were to buy alumimum foil in store ad with coupon does that ivc count as an MFC?

Hope I made that clear. TIA

So, if I were to buy alumimum foil in store ad with coupon does that ivc count as an MFC?

Hope I made that clear. TIA
The IVC doesn't count as a man q. You can "attach" a RR on that item. HTH

Hi I'm new. I don't shop at Walgreen's much. There's really not one close by, so I don't go unless I see a deal too good to pass up.

My newbie to WAGs question: if, for example, I wanted to do the robotussin deal this week but I used RR from a different deal to partialy pay for it would I still get RR back? I know if I were to try to roll robotussin RR into more robotussin it wouldn't work, but if I used an RR I got from the excedrine deal last week on the robotussin deal now would I get the RR back for the robotussin?
Hope that makes sense....

yes, since the balance on 3 robitussin if you use 3 $3 IPS will be 2.97, you can use a $3 Kraft/milk RR but make sure you get a candy filler like the halloween candy @ .39 after IVC to make sure the RR will go through. if not, use a smaller RR like the excedrin RR but if you're not buying anything else, don't use the 4.50 Crest RR, it will say exceed amount.

HTH.
