I saw this RR promo tag on the shelf yesterday, (valid 8/29 thru 9/27)

Buy 1 or more 42 ct WAG omeprazole, get $6 OYNO RR. there is also a $2 mfr coupon available at the pharmacy. WAG megasaver sale is 21.99 (this may still go on sale anytime this month)

21.99 less $2 MQ less $6 OYNO = $14/42 ct Omeprazole ---> this is a good price for those with heartburn who are on Prilosec. it comes up a lot cheaper than most people's co-pay for generic meds.

My middle daughter takes this nightly, and since it's OTC it wasn't covered by insurance when she had it {we're in between since their dad got a new job} I'm SO happy that Prilosec isn't the only choice for us anymore, it WAS $26.99 I think every 6 weeks for me to buy it for her, I got some on sale with the $5 WAGS rebates, I'll DEFINITELY get more this month once they credit my GC for last months FARs.

Are you referring to the infamous pharmacy Qpon booklet, or something else, our pharmacy claims they've never heard of the coupon book.

the $2 WAG omeprazole coupon x12/31 is at the backside of a brochure, you can find it at the pharmacy counter. this coupon doesn't scan but since its a WAG brand, cashier will just price modify. the $6 OYNO is better than the $5 rebate last month, IMO. I like instant discounts a lot better.

if you can't find them, LMK I grabbed some extras.

Yeah, the $6 OYNO is def better than the $5 rebate, but at the time I didn't know they'd be offering this. I'm just happy to finally be saving $ on this particular medication. She'd been on two different meds before but one was not only an appetite stimulant, but a sedative, so I couldn't give it to her 3x a day like they wanted me to, I could only give it to her at night or "as needed" when she had an episode coming on. This medication is far less intrusive, but more OOP, so the generic is GREAT to finally have. Thanks to WAGS I'm also saving even more on it.

yesterday, I bought the green and blue Crest pro health mouthwash and although the tag says 4.99, they both rang up 4.49 and printed 4.50 OYNO. I got excedrin and space bag with it and used the $9 JF and $2 excedrin coupon as part of payment. both crest and excedrin RRs printed on cue.

I am so surprised the shelf is full of these! maybe not for long since the RR promo is right underneath it. I saw the ad, week of 8/7 these will go on sale for 4.49. I hope our store gets more of these.

The sign that I saw says that the deal runs all month and I bought the green in my first transaction and RR printed and then bought the blue in the next transaction no RR and I did not use RR to pay. After talking to the manager and then reading the sign again it said wintergreen so only the green is giving RR atleast right now.

I just got back from walgreens and i did the crest mouthwash deal i did 4 transaction got the RR printed out on all 4...I did the green bottle and the blue bottle and it worked yay

I bought 2 blue crest mouthwash today and both printed RRs in separate orders. I combined each with FAR items plus an excedrin. the crest and excedrin RRs printed on cue

The manager said it was because it was a proctor and gamble product and it was to keep people from buying the store out . I thought that was pretty rude!what do you think?

Most of the time you can not use the RR from a deal to get the same deal. there is a sticky in the Walgreens threads something like Walgreens 101 and it will help to understand some of the quirks with wags. In order to roll RR's you have to use that RR on a different item that is giving out RR..

I don't think its rude. its just their policy that we have to follow. we can still use a coupon/RRs as part of payment but it can't be from the same promo or a new RR will not print. this is what corporate calls daisy chain. I agree with the SM, if corporate allowed rolling of RRs, a few customers can easily wipe out store stocks.
