| Higher prices on Monthly ECB Products?
I noticed this month you can get ECBS for Beneful dog food, which is what we feed our dog. When I was in the store today, I went by the pet food isle just to check out the price. The tag said something like "$7.xx -- get $2 in ECB". But, then I noticed to the left of that was the old tag for teh food, which said $6.xx. Is that normal for CVS to raise the price of an item that is offering ECB? Anyone else experience that?

I noticed a similar thing with one of the Glade products a couple months back. There were 3 shelf tags for the same item (1 on top of each other). The white sticker on the shelf (everyday price) was $9.99...then there was a colored tag that said Clearance 25% off. The 2nd colored tag said $5.00, and then there was the week's SALE tag that read $7.99 When I price checked the item, it came up as $5.00 (with or without card.) So to answer your question, I think it has to do with your region...so even though it's on sale NATIONALLY, your REGION might be selling it for a cheaper price. I would also venture to say that it will also give ECB's. Price check it before you buy it, see what it says...but I again, I'm 99% sure that if it SAYS it's generating ECB's then it will. |
