13 Bucks profit sounds like a pretty good deal to me! Last time I tried the rebate on a glucose monitor, they only sent back what I paid OOP. I don't know how they figured it with all my other purchases. Oh my gosh, I LOVE those cleansing wipes! I guess I wasn't paying attention this week. I didn't know they were on sale and I didn't know they generated an ECB. D'oh!

Those wipes are great but it's the craziest thing on my receipt. I only bought the wipes and one other item. The ECB that printed says "Here are your Extra bucks for having purchased CVS/pharmacy 5 Minute Whitening:" I clearly didn't buy 5 Minute Whitening (whatever that may be...) - I bought the wipes I described in the earlier post. But, I'm not complaining. I only bought 1 since the store only had one on the shelf -- my receipt does not show limit reached so I can't tell you what the limit is on the special "5 Minute Whitening" wipes. |

If they are only paying oop -- be sure to add in another item like the Cover Girl WetSlicks that costs $5.99 and generates a $5.99 ECB. That way, when you use your coupons, you'll show at least a $9.99 oop total. You'll still make $13.00 profit -- you just won't have a low oop showing on the receipt so you'll be reimbursed the $9.99 for the meter. |

I *believe* there is coupons for the Accu-check machine out there too. It is YMMV thing, but 9.99-9.99coupon=0 OOP, get back 9.99. And *may* be able to get $ back on the rebate too. Like I said YMMV though. |

Here's one scenario: Accu check meter $9.99 5 febreze noticeables candles x 6.99 $34.95 5 febreze air effects x 2.50 $12.50 subtotal $57.44 + $3.88 (tax) coupons used: - $9.99 free meter - $25 (5x$5 man q) - $12.50 (5x$2.50 free febreze air effects wyb candle) oop $13.83 send in for $9.99 MIR, new oop $3.84 You can also do this with the Febreze fabric refresher, buy 3 at $11.97 use three buy 27 oz get 16 oz free (not sure of this price) your oop is still over the price of the meter Hopes this helps.... |

The towlettes won't be as good of a deal now that the $2 skincare q has expired (unless your store accepts expired coupons) but the CVS/pharmacy cleansing &makeup remover towlettes are in the area with the other facial items -- look for Ponds & Olay. The towlettes are in a little blue plastic wrap package that's about 4" X 6" in size. The receipt shows that they are on sale for $1.99, reg $2.99. If you have a scanner you can verify to make sure they are on sale. The ECB that printed out stated "5 Minute Whitener" so it didn't even have the correct product associated with the purchase but that's all I bought that could have produced the ECB. |

The towelettes were not on sale at any of my Maryland stores. They rang up regular price so I skipped this deal.

Also, even if your CVS will accept the expired $2 skincare coupon, it does technically say that cannot be combined w/ any other cvs coupon. To avoid 'combining' it w/ the $2/$10 coupons, you should really have more than $12 worth of stuff in your transaction. That way, you use the skincare coupon and you're still over $10 to use the 2/10, so you have not 'combined' them. (that's my take on it anyway LOL) You would just have to add a small filler to the scenario above to meet this requirement (candy or pencils or something). Also, I've read on some forum somewhere (can't remember if it was this one or a competitor's site) that people usually have no trouble getting rebates from the Accu-Check people if they used ECBs to pay for the meter. I'm going to send in a couple soon and cross my fingers.
