Olay Definity ECb problem

FYI - I bought two Olay Definity facial cleansers this morning (on sale for $8.99) and they are not counting toward the Olay Definity deal, even though the ad states "buy (2) any Olay Definity Facial Care". I bought them in back-to-back transactions, so I thought that's why the ecb didn't print, but noticed later that neither is showing up in the ecb deal totals at the bottom of the receipt. But the Garnier total from last week is?!?!

I emailed corporate and will update this thread if they say I should be getting the ecb's. Seeing the Garnier on there makes me think there are a few glitches this morning.

I bought two Olay cleansers at the same transaction, but ECB not printed out. Don't know why, not even bother to ask because there's no tag (ECB tag) attached with cleanser, probably that's the reason.
I'll email to customer service tomorrow, hold my breath.

I did Aveenon today, it worked pretty well. Bought 4 bars, then 2, and 2, three transactions, at the last one, 10 ECB printed out.

I should have read this before going. I had lots of trouble today. I bought the same Olay item you did.. 2 in the same receipt. no ecb. Then bought 2 kiss nail stick ons and only one counted towards the 2 needed for $5 ecb. very frustrating.

Did you purchase your kiss items both in the same transaction or in 2 separate ones? If you did them in separate transactions, they system may not have 'caught up' to the fact that you had already purchased 1 qualifying item when you got the second one. Either way, you should be able to call CS and have them fix the ecbs for you.

Does anyone know if the Olay deal has been fixed to print out ECB's right away....... or do you still have to call corporate??? thanks!

I finally got an email from Corp saying that the products I purchased were not included as part of the ecb reward. I responded back asking if they could tell me which products were included and re-iterated the exact ad wording and stating that the signage in the store did not indicate that certain Olay Definity products were excluded. I'll re-post if I ever get them to tell me what was supposed to be giving ecb's. I asked that in my first email, too.

This happened to me today too. I took my receipt to the manager and he put $12 on a gc for me, but told me that it happened because I had too many coupons and that they were cracking down on that. He actually said that you have to pay cash to get ecbs. Also, I used my 2nd bogo covergirl lip product, and still got charged $5.99 for the two. He told me that was a vendor deal. I don't think it is fair, they will get paid for 1 from the coupon, 1 from the vendor, and got paid for 1 from me. That is 3 total and I only got two.

I bet the manager used to work at Walgreens.

I'm afraid I'd have called his bluff and purchased two of the Olay with cash right then and there. When the ECBs didn't print I wonder what his next excuse would have been? Maybe it was because you didn't pay in quarters or $2 bills.

I got another email from CVS this morning and they will still not tell me which products qualify for the ECB's. "The Olay promotions was for the facial care products but only for certain ones. We only have a listing of the sku numbers of the products that qualify. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."

I emailed back AGAIN asking if there is a reason they cannot tell me which products qualify. This is really ridiculous. They're really trying to tell me they can't match sku numbers to a product? What kind of answer is that? I did tell them I would be returning my purchases and since I partially paid w/ecb's, would I have a problem? I know the policy is to get the return on a cvs money card, but I also know the cashier is likely to say they can't give it to me, so I want the email from corp saying it. This is really not worth it.
