I had eight .50 IP Qs and they would not double them. My neighbor said it was because they scanned the Qs before I entered my Kroger customer number. Anyone had experience with this? That's $4!!!

All of my markets work that way. You have to give your card first and then the coups will double. Go back to the service desk and explain what happened. I'm sure they will refund your money. Unless they were "do not double" coupons. Some don't double automatically because the manufacturer doesn't want them to double, but I'm betting it was the first scenario.

Ours works either way as long as the card is scanned at some point. Not all Krogers double to $.50. Are you sure yours does that?

Most Krogers only double the first three coupons then it is face value after that. Dont be surprised if this is the case you will only get $1.50 refund.

Our Kroger always doubles up to .50, I am going to call tomorrow. I don't shop there a lot, maybe 3 or 4 times per month, but I have never noticed only the first three coupons doubling. Publix is my favorite!

It works both way at my kroger,and it does not matter how many of the same coupon i have.

Kroger is only doubles up to 3 of a kind. Always hand them your card before the Q's are scanned.

Not all Krogers only double 3 per kind...the ones in the Memphis area double 8 per kind and I've heard of others that have no cap in some parts of the country, so its definitely a YMMV scenario.

I have 2 krogers in a local town. One will double 1 like item only. The other will double up to 8 of like items.

my Kroger will double them all no matter how many.
I always hand them my card first, then coupons.

I just called the store. The manager said it was because the Kroger card was scanned AFTER the coupons. They will reimburse me the $4 next time I am there. They were very nice. We have no limit on doubles, anything up to .50. SOOOOOO, that means yesterday at three stores I spent $102 total and saved $201!!!

Mine is a Smiths in AZ and they just stopped doubling all coupons.

Well I think that is pretty crappy...I had my card after and don't get the doubles that just doesn't seem right. I have never checked that on my receipt but I will make sure to hand my card first from now on...

Ours doubles after the card scans and they'll only double 3 like coupons. Sometimes I have to do multiple transactions because of this but I don't mind. Other times I just go straight to customer service and explain I have X amount of the same q and they check me out there in one transaction. They're usually really nice.

the kroger i usually go to has been giving me trouble with doubling and tripling of my q's. they are only allowing one of the same item to be doubled or tripled and any after are face value. really sux.. i need to find me a new kroger location.

I just went to the customer service desk and they told me that you have to scan your kroger card first because that tells the computer to double them.
They gave me cash for the coupons that didn't double.
