Our SWM doesn't carry the $1 bags of MOM cereal. I have a ton of $1 coupons and I didn't want to just use them on the big bags. Do the regular WMs carry the $1 size bags?

I have several Super Walmarts in my area. There is only one Super Walmart that carries the $1.00 size bags. They are not in the regular cereal aisle. They are in a big display in one of the main aisles.

The Chippewa Falls/Hallie WI Super Walmart has the $1 Malt-o-Meal Cereals. They are between the aisles and the deli/cheese section. Chippewa is pretty close to you isn't it?

Did you check the main aisle of the store most stores got promos for back to school of the 1.00 bags I would even call and ask them.

At our regular WM they are in the cereal isle. At our SWM they are near the milk in big case boxes.

I just got back from SWM and they didn't have any $1 bags, I had several $1 off coupons I just applied to their $2.80 a bags.

I just recently found a display off to the side of MOM cereal. They are not near or in the main cereal aisle. Quite strange if I do say so myself.

On one side was a display of animal crackers and on the other side was the cereal.

This was located between the baby stuff & the girls dept.

In general the smaller bags are 'more' if you factor the $ per oz in comparison to the bigger bags. So even though you're not getting FREE cereal if you can't find the $1 bags you're actually getting a better deal, as long as you/your family eats MOM cereal, since you're combining the $1 off with the better $ per oz of the bigger bags.

I try to find silver linings in things.

Thank KeizerMom. I've done the same thing with the laundry detergents, etc. Our SWM tends to have higher prices than the two 30 minutes away, so I just get disgusted at times.

I haven't found at our SWM either, but I have found the $1 boxes at CVS, and at our local small store named Nichols dollar saver, so you may check with other small chain stores in your area!
