So far this has happened 2 times that I recall, so maybe it will work this time.........

Two different times there was an ECB offer where you buy 2 different items and get the bucks, this week with the Maybelline and months back with the Contour, before you were supposed to buy the Meter and strips to get the bucks, but it worked just by buying 2 meters, I guess we'll see.

This one is suppose to be 5ebc when you buy the meter(alone) so this is great because the meters are usually under $30 or right at and you can use the coupon that is good for up to $30 off any contour or breeze 2 meter. The strips are unreal expensive so its not worth it to me, to have to buy the strips, and also the contour has 10 strips in the box already! I have used coupons to get freestyle free($14.99 ebcs! also) and onetouch(10ebcs) and on the onetouch I even got a rebate of $10 back!!!!!!not joking...triple pay! free, free, free! I donate them to my church and out towns foodbank and I know people that are diabetic and sometimes cannot afford the co-pay on their strips so the contour really works out well for them for just tax.

The ad says you have to buy both, what I was saying in my other post is it may work that you could do 2 meters and get the $5.

I don't think that regular gift cards have an activation fee. I think it's just the prepaid Amex and such that charge an extra fee...
