I went to Wal-mart yesterday to do a PM on the Schick razors from CVS (BTW, if you plan to do this, make sure you have the ad! They can't price adjust that much of a difference without seeing the ad!). I have the $4 coupons, so I mentioned that to her before she rung it up. So she says, it should take the coupon, but only for the $3.99. So she price adjusted one razor and then scanned a coupon and it went thru for the $4. I got 4 all together and a couple other small things. She finished ringing it all up and then started scanning the coupons. Well, the last one wouldn't go thru and kept saying "see journal". We couldn't figure out why it wouldn't take and she finally entered it manually. Well, then my total was negative, but neither of us realized it. She told me I owed $1.87. So I gave her my money and then she realized it was negative! We were completely confused and sat there for a minute trying to figure it out and then she printed out what was on the receipt so far. It turned out that we had forgotten about the first coupon she scanned in the order, so when she entered the $4 manually it put me in the negative! So we finally figured it out, but after all that, I ended up about 10 minutes late for my son's doctor appointment. I gotta remember not to make "just one quick stop" when I have somewhere to be! I have no luck!

I do have to say the cashier was super nice and very excited about the razors. Said her daughter had just bought one the other day and she was going to let her know about the deal!

Sounds like you just gave the cashier alittle knowledge on couponing 101.

I didn't even know that they take CVS ad's for some reason I thought it was just like Food Lion and Publix. Dummy me.

hmm Im going to have to try this b/c I havnt been able to find ANY of these dang schicks at 3 different cvs's.....Thanks!!!

Yeah, I had a bunch of coupons and was only able to find 4 razors between 4 stores (well, actually about 7 or 8 because I didn't want to take the last ones). This was the only way I was going to be able to use my coupons!

Wal-mart should price match most stores as long as the store is local to you (I doubt they will let you price match Circuit City if the closest one is 50 miles away). You just need to make sure you are buying the "exact same" item/model #/etc.

My Walmart does actually Price Match according to mileage. I think they will PM if there is one of the other stores within 45 miles. So if the store is 43 miles away they will match the price but not 48 miles away. This cracks me up because the nearest city from either direction is roughly 45 miles away.

So do they price match for you since it is borderline 45 miles or do they tell you no it's actually 46 miles to the next store so we can't do it? LOL!

hmmm then this should work!Cvs is 3 mi from my walmart......I hope it works I bought these qps just for this deal, and they expire in aug(not sure what day).....thanks ladies will let u know how it goes.

There is no such thing as a quick stop to walmart I think its in the rules for trips!

Well, they will price match the Kmart because it is less than 45 miles away but the Target that is a couple stores down from the Kmart is a no go. So I guess Target must be 46 miles away.

okay I went to cvs again 2day and still no intuitions so I asked for a raincheck and she didnt even ask me for how many she just wrote it out for 2!!!I want 13 I have 13 qps but anyways I just took it and headed to walmart, I went st8 2 csm and she assured me they would match it -just go to any cashier so I went and got 4 I figured Id better not be too picky on my 1st try and went to a older lady who seemed very sweet and I explained what I wanted and she said no prob then she looked @ the ad closer and said oh this says 3.99 "with card" and I said ok is that a problem?and she said let me go ask csm .....so off she went and came back and said ok they will allow it so she did it all and totaled it 18.xx I got a soda too, and then she wouldnt take my qps!!Didnt even try to scan them just laughed in my face and said honey I cant take those you will be getting them for free we only take coupons up to half off the item price I said no you should be able to price adjust the coupons for 3.99 and she said NO I CANT so I paid and said ok give me my receipt and Ill go to csm and she kept telling me I couldnt do it and I just shrugged and tok my stuff to csm and she didnt bat a eye took my coupons and gave me $16 in cash,didnt even count to see how many razors I had or look at my receipt.Needless to say I think Ill just go to csm to check out if I do another price match.Oh and btw walmart was PACKED today!!!!(No tax....)

Thanks for this info! I have 9 rainchecks for the intuitions because my CVS is forever out of them. I hope the PM works out at walmart (the stores are across the street from each other in my area).

Sorry she gave you a hard time! At least you got your cash back! I had actually been waiting most of the week for an email from CVS to let me know for sure how they handle a coupon for more than the amount of the product (cashier gave me a hard time saying they weren't supposed to do it). Since it took them 2 days to respond, I didn't even go to CVS on their truck day to see if they got any more. I just kept price matching at Wal-mart. I did go and get a raincheck for the razors tonight, though, just in case another coupon comes out or they get some more in next week!
