I was addicted for about 7 months. For the past 2 months the $/$$ are few and far between and the deals aren't very good. I am loosing my built up ecb's slowly. I pretty much dread CVS now, knowing I have to spend / waste so many ecb's and no good deals to be had.

Hello, I started in November 2007 for getting cheap diapers. Now I have stockpiles of body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, cotton swab, johnson buddie soap... I am hopeless...

| I am an addict!
Yes, I am an addict. Like others I dream about CVS and my deals. Sometimes it wakes me up at night. I get a rush for the first minutes of a new sale and I am standing OUTSIDE (except in the North Dakota winters) waiting for the doors to open on Sunday at noon. (We are a blue state and stores are closed until Sunday at noon.) I get a high from my totals. I come home and show my items and OOP total to anyone who will listen. The clerks all know my name. We have some new training clerks and the older clerk training her said "She is the one I was telling you about." Is this good or bad? LOL The clerks will ask ME what is on special that week or the next week. Other customers stop me to ask me where things are located. Do I look like I work there with a pink shirt on instead of a blue shirt? Maybe it is because everytime that customer is in the store so am I. LOL The clerks have made comments when they noticed I wasn't in on my regular schedule. (I was sick.) I take my big binder with me on vacation (half way across the nation by PLANE) so I can do the deals in California. I am addicted to this site. My kids DREAD going to CVS when I say we are just running in for a minute. They know it will really be an hour or more. I am just like so many of you. I don't deserve the top prize. After reading about Moonflower's big purchases, I vote for her. MOONFLOWER what do you say? |

To the OP: this may be one of the most unintentionally funny posts yet. In the CVS post list, when you run your mouse over this post and see the preview text, this is how part of it reads... The most CVS addicted person here will be crowned as "the AFC most CVS addict." and get clap from everyone. How unfortunate for the person who wins this contest! Keep me out of it! |

Hi, my name is Michele and I have a CVS addiction. I only started back in Feb,but had a CVS card all along for my prescriptions and occasion deal. I go about 5 times a week and recently I went on 1 day (SAT) for five hours going to several CVS stores since we were on vacation. I had to catch up on last weeks sales before the new Sunday started. It took so long as the managers told me that their new ad for Sunday was set and to go and shop more. Even on vacation I wanted to go to CVS as my 4 year old pointed out some CVS stores to me while driving but too busy with the family to stop. I organize all my stockpiles in labeled boxes. I feel quilty I buy items I really don't need to just buy because they are free. However, I do give those items to the local shelter in need or friends and family benefit. I don't know what I ever did before finding AFC. I am addicted to this site too. What a great addiction though I must admit!!

Oh I have it bad too. I am also working on deals, in my head, in my sleep. I've got my whole family shopping there too. So I literally spend a few hours each day on the telephone talking about deals and explaining to people how the deal works, what to buy, what order to give coupons etc. I say I need a CVS/Coupon intervention but all my loved ones (mom, 2 sisters, cousin, neice, and close friend) are all too busy to intervene because they are at CVS. I'm a SAHM but my son goes to preschool for 2.5 hours a day, well when the meters were a monthly deal (nova max) I drove right past my sons school and headed right towards CVS, it wasn't until a minute later and my son was screaming...........Mommy you missed the turn to my school............I was literally daydreaming about finding some meters because it was delivery day, I totally forgot my son was even in the car!!!!!!!! This is the worst confession.............. I signed my son up for "Welcome to Kindergarten" program for the month of July so I could have 3 hours a day to shop at CVS, I'm going to H*LL, hopefully there are coupons there |

Oh my goodness I feel SO much better!!!!! I thought I was the only one who dreamed about CVS and woke up in a cold sweat thinking I forgot a deal.....or heaven forbid let an ECB expire!!! My name is Melody and I am a proud CVS addict!!! I go atleast once a day with my 4 year old daughter who now asks," what are we doing after CVS today?!" I may not have the stock piles that some have but I am well on my way. Thanks for listening I feel so much better now. CVS here I come!! |

In a way I'm kinda glad I don't have the x/xx because I don't have to worry about how I can get my total as close to that number as possible. I still go at least 3 times a week though :-) Right before I go to bed I look through the sale paper for the next week (I get them from the store early) or the current week's sale just to see if I'm missing anything I need to get, even though I've gone through it a heap of times. YES, I AM ADDICTED!!! |

OK this is so funny. I think that I can relate to everyone who has posted here. I just think of the time I spend sitting on my computer waiting for the next great fix (I mean buy) ![]() I have now introduce my daughter to CVS but she has not gotten the addiction like I have yet. This is a great site and I thank you ALL for the great buys I have had over the last few months!

Is there a problem with having a storage room full of free stuff? If there is I am a addict! The worst part of it is that I have sooooo much stuff but yet I cringe when someone asks for something that I did not offer to them or when my mom shops my stockpile. Do I really need that much crap- no. If I'm letting people see the stockpile why should I be bothered if they ask for a item that I have a five year supply of? I think I have a free stuff hoarding problem! I like to see my stash grow and grow without regard to needing it or not!

I am addicted... I leave the house at 11:30 or 11:45 Saturday night just so I can go get my deals for the week right after midnight. I thought CVS employees would think I was crazy for shopping at Midnight until 1 or 2 am!!!! They don't though thae say I "keep them company during the late hours" They are alway expecting me on Saturday / Sunday at 12am I like shopping at this time I don't have to worry about other customers while I am doing my deals and pulling out my coupons - no bad looks from anyone behind me!!! I also don't have to worry about them being out of something. Oh and I go everyday or night and swipe my card - I usually get coupons 5 out of 7 days.

I used to be addicted until there was no more $/$$! I only go every once in awhile now! I only have $3 in ECB's on my card and $20.XX on my fiance's card! I don't even want to spend them, cause there is no way to roll them to get my ECB's back!

How many times did I dream about you? CVS? I'll say at least 5 times a week. Sometimes it was a good dream (I got all the things I wanted), sometimes it was a nightmare (they ran out of stuff, and I had a very mean cashier) I would wake up in the middle of the night, and thinking about all the deals... Am I addicted? I can't say I'm not... I used to live in a place without CVS, and I would never dream about paying almost nothing to get personal care and food items. CVS, how can I live without you? |

I'm so glad to have this site to make me feel "normal"... . I went from driving past CVS daily. To stopping or having the urge to stop. Darn those $4/$20 coupons. I can't let them expire. It's like throwing away money. They know what they are doing at CVS. Those coupons are a little sample of the "drug" to keep us coming back for more...hehe. I too have dreams about coupons and how to get stuff for free. This is a new one for me. I bought 2 Loreal Vive, 6 packs of gum, and 2 deoderants. I spent $1.63 (and $3 ecb) oop and got mad becuase I forgot to give her the coupons for my deoderant (-$2). I thought about going back to have them take it off too (making my total negative since I used the ecb's). Good grief. I have a problem. |

I am so addicted to CVS. You know you are addicted when your 2 year old knows CVS by name and she can't wait to hand the cashier the whole stack of coupons when you go to check out. And when you tell your 11 year old that you need to go get cheese for the cheeseburgers and he replies with " Do you have any ECB's because I think they have kraft singles in the refridgerator part at CVS". . Happened just the other day.
