My class is an all day class that starts with the basics what coupons are, where to get them, different kinds. We cover double deals, triple deals, etc. How to match coupons and rebates up to store sales. I provide them with a SUnday paper so we can actually put together deals. I feed them lunch and do lots of give aways. late in the afternoon we go to the grocery store and we actually do the deals. My students stay on my email list for 6 months. Just like in class I put deals together and email them to them. After the six months they are expected to fly on their own. Many of them help me find good deals. I also start them on using a coupon binder. Because, I find it the easiest method. But, I do go over other organization techniques in the class. I give about $15 worth of supplies, that of course I got alot cheaper. Whats funnny is twice I have had people fly in for my class. The class is a whopping $50, and I only allow 10 in a class. So after all my expenses I don't make a great deal. But, I love doing it.

You should not buy any kind of gift card with your RR, regardless of whether you have enough cheap items for each RR to attach itself too. It is clearly stated on the RR that they are not to be used to buy any type of gift or gas card and as such, you would be getting a cashier into serious trouble when her transactions show $50 in RR used to purchase a $50 Gift Card and 10 erasers. When we start using coupons (including RR) in ways that clearly go against the company's use for same, then those same companies start becoming stricter and putting more and more restrictions on said coupons and deals.

Also, since we have so many new members, it is important that those new members realize that Gift Cards ARE NOT to be purchased with RR at all!

I have been corrected that this is not allowed as it is written directly on the RR they can not be used toward GCs. I stand corrected. And all talk of RR to GC shall be ceased.

I read on the front page about joining the Pharmacy deal and getting 10% back by entering your receipts. So how far back does it go? Is it only items I buy AFTER signing up? I have so many walgreens coupons that it would be a nice chunk of change.
