I just got back from CVS. I am so disappointed! I tried to do the Clean and Clear deal but they didnt have the blackhead stuff there. There wasnt even a spot for it. So I thought Id rearrange my deal and get something else. The cleanser which was listed as the cheapest here, was $5.49! The prices went up from there.
So it wouldnt have been worth it to do the "deal".
Also, I wanted to get the BOGO All detergents. The last time I did it, they were $5.79 each. I had 2 $1.00 off q's for it so I thought that it would be good getting both for $3.79. They were almost $7 dollars for one! That's not a good deal, even with the $2 off.
I was disappointed but still wanted to get the Glade deal. I had the B2G1 q's for the refills. So I grab 6 of those and some Sour Patch kids (for DD) and when I got up to the register, the lady was so nice. Talked to my DD and everything. THEN she quickly changed her tune once she saw I had q's. It was only TWO!!! She told me I couldnt use them both. I asked why. She said because it is one per purchase (insert eye roll here). I said yes and Im purchasing 6 and all together it is a transaction, not a purchase. Nooooo she says, all of this (rolling her hands over the counter) is a purchase, you cannot use both coupons. THEN she adds in that she is surprised I didnt know that since I use coupons!!!!! I said apparently I use more q's that you take! So I told her to ring them up separately.
Usually I have great experiences there, even if they are out of the stuff, I always walked out happy. Today I was embarrassed. Not only did a huge line form behind me, she felt the need to apologise to the person behind me and referred to my TWO coupons.
Im not going to give up. I have about 3 more CVS's in the area!

what a witch she was. Id go back with 20 more coupons and make her ring them up seperatly.

That kind of thing is irritating. I would just use another CVS or ring up with a different cashier next time.

Thats the problem, there is no more than one cashier at a time. I dont think Ive ever seen two working at different registers.

I went tonight to a different one and got 20 packs of gum will be back there tomorrow for more! I have a lot of gum chewers in my fam! Haha.

UPDATE:

I went back to that CVS last night and sent my DH in with the same 2 q's. He came out with one bag and one receipt! The SAME woman let him use both in the same "purchase" Haha.
He said she even mentioned that he was getting a good deal!
I didnt believe it was the same cashier so I peeked in and it was!
Guess she thought he was too cute or I was too ugly?

What a witch. I would have made her ring everything seperately.
