| confusing, Why did this happen? Okay last week I went to CVS and purchased 2 X pledge furniture polish spray Right guard Proffesional Strength Physicians formula mascara CVS cleansing cloths Bic Soliel Razor and Cartriges Used Pleadge BOGO coupons, Now the pleadge was only $4.59, And the coupon was good for up to $4.99, but they would not adjust it to $4.59, she said since its not $4.99 they only work for $4. Whatever. Right Guard $2 off cpn $1 physicians formula coupon $2 CVS coupon 2 X $4 off Bic coupons........ everything went through, I then Tried using my ECB to pay, And it beeped, And the computer said "Can only take max of $4" It would only let me use 1 ECB and It could only be worth $4. The manager ended up voiding it, And splitting the transaction in Half, Which then Worked, Although by then I was so confused that I forgot to one of my $physicians formula coupons. This stuff happens everytime at my CVS. Someone said the ECB do not count as coupons, But my reciept always says $6.99 Coupon. And I have heard that You do not need as many Items as Coupons. But then Why do I have these problems? and the manager had said it was because the Computer Had said I reached my limit of coupons, Which would tell me the computer sees the ECB as coupons. I tried getting her to Re-scan my card like someone mentioned last week, but she said it wouldn't matter. |

I have had problems in the past with ecb's when I have had more coupons then items. Always make sure that you have at least the same number of items as coupons including ecb's that you want to use. |

| In what order did you give your coupons? was it manu? and then ECB Because in the past if I dont give my ECB first the machine does not want to take them for some weird reason. |

| Ya Its always at the end that I give mine, I never really figure out my totals before Hand so I dont know How much I need to use until the ed After all the coupons................And with the Pledge the computer automatically rang it up for $4 I just asked her If she Could change it to $4.59 and she said no It will ring up $4 because Theirs are less than $4.99, And I said But the Coupons say UP TO $4.99, And she said it doesn't matter, The computer will only take it for the next lowest dollar amount. I didn't want to fight her to much on this, Since there is always problems when I go in, And she is always nice to me. But still iritated me. |

| OK - I've posted this a bunch of times, but mine kept doing this and long story short the cashier just had to scan my ec card again. For each ECB she would scan my card and it would then take the whole thing. I don't know why and before we figured this out we kept getting managers and the whole nine yards. i 'd have like $24 balance and it would say it could only take $3. So ask them to scan your card and try again. It works every time for me when I have a problem now. HTH |

I just grabbed a few of my receipts to look at and right away I see 3 items, 4 q's used............ 5 items, 6 q's used........ etc. confusing...... shouldn't be different from store to the next..... And I know the register considers them "coupons" ---- imo, EXTRA BUCKS means money , not coupons! |

| maybe thats what happen to me yesterday i went in and bought a few thing i had a 5 dollar off smart rinse coupon (that the man sent me from emailing them telling them we love the stuff) so the coupon would not scan so the cashier called the manager and the manager told me the coupon was printed from home and it was a fraudlent coupon i said no no no that was sent to me from the man so she said if it dont scan we cant take it but i will try to ring it up by its self and it took i though i had more items than coupons though cuz i bought the free tampons and pani liners so dont know what happen |

At the end of my original message I wrote that someone had talked about re-scanning the card, And I asked her to do this, but she wouldn't, She said it wouldn't make a difference, I remembered reading that post from you, But it was a No Go on getting her to re-scan my card. And I didn't want to fight with her on it, Since its the only CVS in my area, And she is a nice manager, Just obviously not smart in some areas. |
