I went tonight to get the charmin deal since it ends today. Deal was you buy 4 of the 12 packs @5.99 each, you get $10 ECB. It also says buy $20, get $10 ECB. So, they were out and I asked if they have any in the back... they looked and didn't have any. The other girl said "we can't give rain checks for ECB's" and right as I was ready to argue she said that they will give me the 9 pack as a substitute and give me a ECB credit. So, I walked back and saw they were marked $6.99. I did have the .25 Q and just decided to go ahead even though the deal wasn't as good, we needed to stock up.

Well, I get to the register and she marks it down to 4.96 each which was the first wonderful thing, rings up my case of water, 2 coke zero's, aussie spray, 2 8pks of hershey kitkats, bag of pretzels and 2 shoe laces on clearance...

used 5/30, $12 ECB's, $3.50 in Q's, $10 GC

she handed me a $10 bill since she couldn't give me my ECB, plus I got a $2 for the aussie

I have never gotten cash but one time they had the 9 pk on sale and they substituted the 12 pk since 9pk was out.

haha I am sick, because I would rather have the ECB. which I know is dumb, but cash messes up my cvs play money (aka ECB) total.

Just use the $10 and buy a CVS GC. That way when you need a little OOP you can use the GC or you can use it to buy something later that gives ECB and you'll be right back in the loop with it.

I can't have cash in my wallet.......there's this great big whole in the bottom of it and all the cash just disappears. When the CVS clerk or manager offer me cash or some other form of compensation I always start to whine and say "No, it'll mess up my all my plans". Imagine that, we don't want to take cash. What's wrong with this picture?

Wow, that is great! My store would have a stroke at the thought of passing out $10 bills! They have given me ECB's on GC's before. But it is a rare occasion.

I dont find that there are many CVS's by me. There is the one on Centre Ave but they never have anything. I dont shop CVS because of this but that was a great deal for you!

That's great! I bought the wrong Schick Intuition today so they did not ring up as BOGO. I noticed it immediately and she did a return and just gave it back to me on a gift card because I had paid with ECBs. I love it when that happens.
