OK so maybe I'm paranoid this week -

but

I've noticed that I'm not really getting any good coupons anymore, in fact, the last three times I've gone to CVS - nothing on the end of my receipt... Now, this morning, I went to a CVS that has a card scanner/coupon dispenser thing and my BFF swipes her ECB card and gets 4 coupons including 1 for $5/$25 so I'm thinking I never get these but surely I'll get it now... so I scan my card and I get one lousy coupon for $1.00 off pain reliever.... that's not fun. I don't really need that.

So then I check out, I have all my coupons in a row and worked to get a total of $10.58 to use my $10 ECB.... and for some reason it wasn't working. 3 cashiers were huddled trying to push it thru but the line was to Wisconsin and I was starting to sweat from the glaring eyes burning holes thru the back of my head, so I handed over cash and took my ECB back.

To make matters worse, I'm getting sick of hearing my about my twin sister getting all kinds of good huggies coupons and $/$$ while I get nada.

So does CVS favor certain customers? Are they on to my mad-skills for couponing and holding back? My sister is not a couponer... she's one of those people who will go in with a 5 off 25 and spend $50 bucks somehow...

no ,my ds card gets the best crt and i use that one the least,but mine hardly gets any good crt

hmm, it's weird. I may have to open a new card under DH's name or something and start from scratch or something.

DH and I both have had stinky coupons lately.

yeah, i just found the scanner last week -- all the good it's done so far, though...

I'm in the same boat...no coupons via e-mail (except for the stupid $ off $$ on-line Q), no snail mail Q's and no Q's at the end of the receipt.

I recently got a card for my DD and all the scanner spit out was a q for that "Mag-Ox" stuff --- great!

This is not truly confirmed, but rumor is that the newer cards are getting way more q's than the older ones. Maybe try signing up for a new one and see if that helps!

I never get email coupons either. the scanner just spits out crap too (1/3 cvs toothbrushes??? who would pay for toothbrushes???)

$1 off pain reliever is good though. tylenol is 3.99 starting tomorrow, giving 2 EB back. get a tylenol, use the $1 CVS q and a $1 mfr q and get .01 overage after the EB's. hope that helped!

Me to! Today I was tring to hit the 6/15 sales. Scanned and $1.00 pain reliever to!. So I used my DD card next time I checked out. Guess what I got on her card!! $1.00 off pain reliever! Can't win for loosing!!

It might be what a pp poster said about the new cards. I opened mine up back in Feb and I get a 5/25 almost every time I go to CVS and the other day I got 3.00 off any body soap purchase. My mom has an older card and she never gets anything off hers.

Don't forget to scan your card more then once!!! You can scan it until you get $3 off of $10 CVS brand coupon. Then it will say no more til tommorrow!! But you may have more on there for you to get, just wait til the screen comes back up and scan again!!!

CVS is trying to dump me too, I won't let that happen though!

After the hassle it's been this week, I'm taking a week off. Maybe the week of the 22nd will be better. I just transfered one of our cards to a new account, so I'll let you know how that goes as far as CRT's & Q's are concerned. Both of our cards received absolutely no emails or CRT's this week, so nothing yet. I did register the new card at cvs.com though and received a 4/20 q, it was different from the old 4/20's though. This one was more like a letter & addressed to me.

Oh well, maybe things will change for the better!

Me too. When I first started to shop at CVS, I have $4/20 or $10/50 pretty much everytime after I checked out. Now, I hardly get any coupons. The scanner always split out $3/10 CVS brand, sometimes with $1 off cookies, $1 off any 3 CVS toothbrush. Today, I finally got one CRT $1.50 off any pain reliever. I will used that for tomorrow Tylenol deal.

I was thinking, they know you are coming to CVS every week regardless, so they only give the coupons to the new user. You won't know how many people come in CVS without the Extra care card. I was shopping this morning, I heard at least 3-4 times when the cashier asked the customer do you want to open the CVS card, and all of them says no. The nice cashier even remind them some of items that they purchased will be cheaper if they have the card, but still, no one want to open it. I was thinking, oh man, you guys don't know what you are missing.

Hmmm... so I'm not alone -- we should start a "first wives club" of CVS
