Next week they have the Almay One Coat mascara for $6.99 and earn $5 ecbs. Well, today I noticed in my store that some of the mascara is 50% off clearance. If they are still there on Sunday, will I earn the $5 ecbs? Thanks in advance.

YMMV. some items do, some don't. A few months ago EOB was on clearance and gave ECBS. But other items have been clearanced and they didnt. Alot of it may be the way the cashier rings it up. Scanned will work, hand punched won't.

Try it. If it does not give you ECB's take it back.

Not normally. There have been a few instances where EB's have printed, but it's not a regular, or common, occurrence.

When I tried to do the Hershey deal I bought some on clearance and it didn't come up as being included in the deal so I returned those and got different bags (normally I would have bought the chocolate anyway but with all that other chocolate I was already purchasing, it would have been way too much, ). I've read other posts where people bought things on clearance but did not get extra bucks (but in some cases, even if you don't get extra bucks it's still close to free with coupons and stuff).

I also tried to get some EOB clearanced items for the ecb but it wouldn't work. Here they put a black mark through the bar code so they do not scan. The price needs to be entered in the system.

That would explain why I didn't get credit for a 50% off Biore product this week. The manager looked at it and couldn't figure out why it didn't work, so he gave me a gift certificate in place of the ECB. Uh oh. I didn't realize it was wrong. He just thought there was a glitch in the system!
