Ok. So I am getting married in 6 weeks, and I need to stock up on stuff. I have tons of toothbrushes, toothpastes, body wash, deo, razors, but I dont have any house stuff like trash bags, ziploc bags. I want to get as much stuff as I can at CVS with my ECB so less oop. Is there any of the stuff I will need in upcoming weeks sales?

First Congrats on getting married, but why the urgency of stocking up right away?

I'd say your best bet is to search the coming weeks sale ads in the CVS forum, see what looks good for you, organize your Q's(trade or purchase a few you might need to keep your oop super low) and go for it. I havn't been all that successful in stocking up on household goods...probably because I am always focusing on HBA. But, even if you can't stock up like you would want for household goods, you can use the funds you USED to spend on HBA, and pour that into household goods at other stores;still using coupons combined with sales.(I tend to do better on household items at Wags when they are on sale and I combine my coupons with their coupons...)

First, congrats!!! I don't understand, though. You've been a member since April so you must have some kind of household stuff stocked up? Head on over to the CVS forum and you'll surely find what the big deals of the week are.

I hadn't planned on getting married until next June, but we decided to move it up to this July. I dont have anything like cleaning supplies, so I am wanting to get stuff like that.

I've been CVSing since January. looks like certain things have ECB deals only once in a while...comet, ziploc bags, windex, fantastic.

While of course other things like makeup and diapers are at least monthly.

My advice? To set up house, maybe take the oldfashioned route and buy one of what you need on sale/at target with q's and wait to stock up until the ECB deals come.

Just do what I do, don't clean too often! You'd be surprised how long the cleaning supplies you have will last when you don't use them too often!

I gave up on cleaning and have Molly Maid do it for me. It's not expensive when you have a little house

If you feel the need to have a stockpile of cleaning supplies ASAP try the Dollar General, they have pretty low everyday prices on most cleaning items and they do accept coupons. (IE Lysol pourable is $2.00 - $1.00 coupon=$1.00 a bottle)
Otherwise I would just get what you need for now and build your stockpile as things go on sale. Or maybe ask for cleaning supplies for wedding gifts.

Congrats on getting married. I get most of my cleaning supplies at Publix when they have a bogo sale and I have a coupon. I am getting glass plus this week for 25 cents and a couple of weeks ago I got a 40 oz pour bottle of lysol for 40 cents.

I agree, I don't usually see cleaning stuff generating ECB's.

there is a bogo pledge coupon in the paper today and a $1 printable windex on coupons dot com right now. those are the only 2 good q's coming to mind, sorry! I always stock up on cleaning stuff when it's on sale - grocery store, target etc. and ALWAYS have a coupon!

If you have a grocery store that doubles q's, watch for when they have cleaning items on sale too. One of the stores by me doubles up to $1, I can get cleaning items super cheap when I match up big sales with my q's!
