Question about abbreviations Each week I have been printing the CVS ECB/DOUBLE PLAYS to plan my shopping trips. I noticed by certain items there are such comments as: -.50/2 Ragu c/9 (RP 5/18) -.75/2 Liption c/o (RP 5/18) -.50 Hellmanns c/o (RP 5/18) -$3 c/o (S 4/13) -.50 Crest c/o (PG 5/4) -$1 c/o (S#2 5/18) OK, I'm aware of the what the - and the c/o mean. But, what do the "RP", "S", "S#", and "PG" stand for that are in the parenthesis? Also, where are people getting such coupons????? I haven't been able to find them. Thank you.

They are referring to the Sunday paper inserts. RP= Red Plum PG= Proctor & Gamble S or SS= Smart Source S#2= Smart Source #2 (sometimes there are two Smart Source inserts) HTH

Here's what they mean: -.50 Hellmanns c/o (RP 5/18) Means there's a coupon for Hellmann's worth .50 that came in the RedPlum coupon pack on May the 18th -$3 c/o (S 4/13) Means there's a $3 coupon that came in the smartsource coupon pack that came April 13th. -.50 Crest c/o (PG 5/4) Means theres there's a .50 coupon for Crest that came in the proctor and gamble insert in the may 4th newspaper If you keep the coupons inside their inserts and just cut them as you need them, it's easier to find them when someone posts them like this. I've found that method to be the easiest for filing, storing and finding coupons. Double play means that CVS has the item on sale, is giving back ECBS AND there's a coupon for the item (3 ways to save) A triple play is when there's another deal that goes with that sale and item such as a rebate or other incentive like the caregivers market. Hope that helps.

Oh, I don't think I've seen a triple play yet. Are there any out there now?
