I was at CVS tonight and there was a weird guy hanging out and kind of giving the check out girl a hard time. So....I walked up front and made my it known that I was in the store. I started visiting with the girl and told her on the sly that I wouldn't leave until he was gone. Well about an hour later he finally got sick of waiting for me to leave...I think. He finally left...he was up to no good. The check out girl was thanking me over and over for hanging around.

All of these stores should be thankful that honest, hardworking couponers like us are in there stores. No one who goes through as much work as we do to get good deals...would ever do anything wrong at there stores. We provide a sense of quality shoppers to there customer base. By giving us the good deals they are kind of paying for the security we help provide there stores. If we're in there...that kind of keeps the bad out.

Sorry for rambling but I had a lot of time to think while I was waiting for creepy guy to leave.

So true! That was so nice of you to hang out there so she wouldn't be stuck alone with him. One time DH and were out really late at night and stopped at a gas station in the middle of nowhere, there was a young girl working there all by herself and this uber creepy old man was hanging out in the store and saying weird sexual things to her. We tried to wait out in our car for him to leave but he wouldn't, so we finally just called the police. It's so scary especially with what happend to Kaite Poyer serveral years ago.

Way to go. You never know what people's intentions are now days. Too many crazy people out there!

And you probably put that hour to good use too, I would LOVE to be stuck in CVS for an hour, just not under those circumstances! By the time I left I would wind up buying half the store!

We had 3 CVS's ROBBED within 10 miles of me a week ago. Couldn't believe it. You were great to stick around!

holy cow! 3 robbed! they have cameras, maybe they need police buttons(if they don't already have them!) No wonder we don't have a 24 hr anything(except walmart) anywhere close to us!

If anything, the manager should have been notified and asked the guy to leave. If he doesn't, then the police can be called to have him removed and warned for trespassing. If he came back, then he could be arrested for trespassing.

I visit my 24hr CVS very late on Saturday nights sometimes....(I work the late shift on Saturdays)and there is always one cashier and one assistant manger there. They are never left alone. I hope that poor girl wasn't all alone, but it sounds like it. Good for you for hanging out to ensure her safety. The world needs more good samaritans like you!

I always tend to go to CVS late at night (Because I get off at 1100pm) I am always cautious, but that is great that you stuck around you should be VERY proud!
