Rolling over your ECBs... So, I'm a newbie to CVS - can someone please explain the whole rolling thing to me? I just don't get what you all are doing! ![]() I currently have these ECBs, they expire sometime in June (toward the end i think) $3.99 $14.97 $3.00 Thanks in advance! Emarie

Here's my take on it: Take the ECB's you already have and use them to purchase more items that give you the same amount of ECB's, or more in return. Example: Purchase 3 Adidas Deodorants $14.97 1 Renuzit Air Fresh $.50 Total about $15.50 Use a $5/$15 Q, this makes your new total about $10.50. If you had ECB's totaling $10.00, you could pay with those and $.50 cash to get $14.97 back, hence growing your ECB's. Since you have an ECB for $14.97, I would throw in a couple of items to get my total up to $15.00. This is a chance for you to get some things you could really use for free. This week I'm using the $1.50 Apple Juice for my fillers, the kids go through juice like crazy! I'm planning on using some of the $3.15 Huggies wipes that on clearance as a filler tomm. too. This really helps me save on things I would buy anyways! Understand?

:goodpost2: You are basically going to use those ECB's that you have now to buy more items at CVS. I try and "buy" items with my ECB's that will give me MORE ECB's back. Like in the example above. I have a hard time getting new ECB's sometimes when all the item's that are giving ECB's are not things that we use. I tend to stick to getting things that we will use, unless it's a big ECB maker. Ask more questions if you have 'em. ![]()

Also check out the "My Trip Today" section. Most of the people posting there are rolling ECBs. They list what they bought and the coupons and ECBs they used and then how many ECBs they got back. Basically, you want to use them before they expire and you want to get about the same amount of ECBs back that you use. In the example above, you would use the $14.97 ECB and you would get another $14.97 ECB from the Adidas, but now it's good for another month.
