| CVS AMEX deal I went to CVS yesterday and tried to get the two AMEX cards for the free spring fling card. The two employees did not know anything about it, but one did try to help. Has anyone done this deal? Does the rebate print out at the bottom of the receipt? Do I need to buy 3 cards and then mail for the rebate for one of them? Or do I buy 2 and then mail the form in and get it by mail? Someone else made a comment on another thread that the rebate forms were up, but I could not find the forms anywhere in my CVS, and neither could the employees -- and one even called the CVS help desk and that person was not sure. Help please!    |

| It sounds like you mail in a rebate form. I can't find a link to the rebate form. But, on the Amex site, there is a phone number to call about it. "American Express" How much did it cost to activate the cards? |

| My CVS had the rebate forms in front of the register. You do have to mail it in with receipt of purchase and a card will be mailed back to you within 60 days...Must be sent in by 7/22/08.... Last edited by tryingtosave23; 05-26-2008 at 06:19 AM. |

| I was going to do this but each $25 AmEx card has a $3.95 activation fee - - I wasn't in the mood to pay that - but I'll have to reconsider if there are ECB's involved. |

| on the back of one of the AMEX cards it said 4.95 to activate....I wonder why they will charge an activation fee. sheesh! I also wanted to get 2 of these cards for graduation gifts, then use the spring fling for me LOL |

| what I didn't like is that the 'bonus' card can only be used at 4 different stores (best buy, borders, spa finder? and one other - can't remember). if it was to be used *anywhere* I might be tempted to do it. I did not know that if you bought two you got $5 ecb next week. sweetens the deal a little...but not enough for me. |
