Please be extra careful if you shop the Coon Rapids store at the corner of Hanson & Coon Rapids Blvd. There have been 5 attacks within a 1/2 mile radius of the store and some of them have happened during the day.

It sounds like it's a group of adult males doing the attacks and they are getting more severe. The most recent person that was attacked was beaten pretty severely...very scarey. He had dropped off his car to get worked on and thought he would walk home.

They said on the news that there had been a bicyclist attacked too.

Park next to the doors and be extra careful until the cops catch the people responsible. Hopefully it will happen soon!

my goodness! the worst thing that has happened around here is someone dropped off 2 starving puppies, one got hit by a car but we saved the other one, been feeding him like crazy with my EBC's I got puppy food with at cvs...hehehe....

I saw that on the news the other day, didn't they say there had been like 5 similar incidents with-in a half mile of the store? That really surprises me because that's not a bad area at all.

I must of not been watching the news when this aired. It isn't in a bad neighborhood at all.

I didn't want to imply that it was a bad area. I just wanted to make sure that all my coupon "shoppin buds" from the area are safe when they are out getting the deals.

I just heard on the radio that they arrested these people and found the gun, too. For those that shop in that area, stay safe!
