Purchased the Trial Pack of CVS Brand Cradlers Supreme Diapers for $1.49 to try them out before I buy a big pack. It says on the outside of the package "Look for $2.00 coupon inside!" So, I figured this would be a great chance to try them out without really losing anything since I'd be getting a $2.00 coupon out of it.

So, I get home and open the package, the diapers seem good enough, not really bad at all. Then I check out the coupon and get this, IT EXPIRED 6/30/07!

I hate returning things to CVS, and I would really feel like an idiot trying to explain that I was returning this trial pack of 2 diapers because the coupon inside was expired! LOL

I decided to call the CVS 800 # to let them know that they're selling something with the coupon clearly promised on the packaging and the coupons are sooooooooo expired. The woman on the phone laughed, in a good way, she was great! Then she took down the store # and said she'd definately let them know so they could pull them before anyone else has the same problem. (Yes, they are still on the shelf 2 days later!)

Next came the craziest thing of all. She asked if I had a CVS Card & I said of course. Then she told me to give her the # she was going to have a $5 courtesty coupon print up on my next visit! Sure enough, today a $5 CVS Courtesy Gift Certificate printed up, the cashier really checked it out. She'd never seen one before! I only bought a few things & none of them produced ECB's so I think her eyes just about popped out of her head when this $5 coupon printed out! LOL

So, if you see these trial packs and even consider buying them for the $2 coupon, don't bother, it's really a waste of time! Unless of course your CVS accepts coupons that expired last year!!!!!!!

I also bought two packs a few weeks ago (when cvs diapers were b1g1) mine was alos expired but I was planning on buying the diapers anyway and asked my favorite manager if he would still take it. He tried to scan it and it worked so he said no problem. So might not be bad to give it a try...

Ahhhhh, Went out with the trash today! LOL

I had this happen to me a couple weeks back. I seen those trial pack clearanced the week before the BOGO free deal so I bought them up. All my Q's were expired. I called the store manager and told her about it and she was really nice and let me use them all ! They rang threw the register without a beep. Even the manager was surprized she didn't need to override them. So.....Never hurts to call the manger to see if they will honor it.

The reason the coupon worked is because the expiration dates only look at the month..It ignores the day of month and year.
After June of this year is over..the coupon would not be valid again until January.
