Hi Ladies,

I just ordered two CVS coupons from eBay that explicitly state for New OR Transferred prescriptions (they don't expire until June 08 so check ebay!).

Anyway, here are my questions:

1. I have a prescription for a peak flow meter (for asthma). Clearly this isn't something that would have any refills - can I still use one of these coupons?

2. I have one prescription that I KNOW I can transfer over from Walgreens. It has 2 refills on it. Once those are complete, I have another paper script for more of the same medicine - can I bring in that new paper script and get another gift card (even though its a medication that I've already been filling at CVS)?

1. Yes if it is a script you can use it for the meter!!

2. I believe if you have a script even if it is for a script you already are using you can still use the coupon!!

I wanted to also say that any paper script you bring in even if it is a drug you are currently on is considered a new script.

I have used this coupon on a peak flow and my daughter gets a written prescription every month for the same medicine (controlled substance) and they have allowed me to use a coupon each month. However, as all things at CVS are, this is YMMV. It just depenends on your store and your cashier.

Also, are these internet printable. If so I would be cautious. That expiration date is quite a ways out there for a cvs coupon and there have been scanned/altered ones with that exp date in the past. I saw some of them and they were not even done well. I am not saying that these are fake I am just saying you may want to use with caution.

I have a $25 one too, I have one to transfer, and it is time, but I haven't been taking it as I should and don't need it yet. Thought about getting it filled, just for the GC.
