I have a $14.97 ECB. I don't usually have that much oop. I am wondering if anyone could suggest a way to purchase some things and come out with approximately the same (or more even better) in ECB's but have smaller amounts? I have been racking my brain and going through the ads but I either come up with the same amount back in one ECB or I loose about $10. (so not going to happen). I have the $5/15 and 3/15 (health and beauty coup) and couple of 2/10 cvs brand coups. Anybody with a quick suggestion?

hmmmm, can you tell us what kind of deals you did already? so we know what you can do?

Sometimes you simply have to "bite the bullet" and spend the ECB on items such as milk when you see they are going to expire and the deals are just not out there. So go ahead and plan a deal even if it gives the large amounts. You can always buy stuff that keeps for awhile that you will need anyway.

(there are also coupons for toothbrush and body wash, but if you want to use them, then you have to adjust the plan accordingly so your total will be higher than the ECB you want to spend ($14.97. or you will lose some of your ECB.)

But the chance of everything on the list being in stock might be slim so you have to have some back up plan.

If you want to break up your ECB, then you have to try to buy bunch of different items that gives your ECB back.If you just buy lots of one item (i.e. many colgate total), then all the ECB you earn will be combined into 1 ECB coupon.

Oooh, watch out on the Colgate toothpaste - it's $3.49 bogo this week and the ecbs aren't printing anymore (at least not at my store).

I've got the PERFECT suggestion! Get the Speed Stick deodorants. They are 2/$5 and give $3 ECBs wyb 2. The Lady's 24/7 has a $1 coupon in today's paper. If you had 2, they are both free! The other speed stick (lady's non 24/7 and the regular mens) has a 75c/2 coupon out also in today's paper. Limit of 5. I don't want to look at deodorant for a long time. LOL
