I was so proud of CVS tonight as a corp. This is the first time I have seen them donate on a show like this. They donated all the baby supplies for the young mother on there and all the med equipment that the baby needed and also gave her a scholorship to finish college and money to provide child care while she goes. I told DH I love shopping at CVS even more now

Aw, that's sweet! That show makes me cry!

I've seen them donate on other Extreme Home Makeover episodes. They've donated scholarships and medical supplies to at least 2 other families that I can remember.

I didn't see it! Ugh! Yay for CVS! They can afford to help out families like that even though they don't make any money from me besides MFR Qs! LOL! Must be lots of people shopping at CVS that just have no idea how to shop! LOL!

That was very sweet of them to give something back.

I was watching the show also and was a little surprised when I saw that. Good for them for stepping up to the plate and donating the items.

EHM was just here in RI doing a house for a show in May. CVS paid off the family's mortgage-- 200k. It was totally cool having it happen because it was in my hometown and everyone was a buzzed having them here.

I saw that too- I am so happy to see that we all haven't put CVS in the poor house. I guess in some small way we all have helped to contribute to those donations. Way to go CVS!!!!!

We had EHM in our town last year, I don't know if CVS took part I didn't watch it. LOL

Than just last month we had the Super Nanny here taping for a show coming up soon. I will watch that one.

I saw it too and was very impressed by their generous donation. I'm proud to shop at CVS.

I watched it too! I was happy to see them play such a huge part. That little boy was just too sweet.

In reply to my own comment, I just took a few minutes and contacted CVS and praised them for helping this family. YEAH CVS!!!!
