For example, next week, CVS vitamins are BOGO.
IF I purchase vitamins, does it print up like:

CVS vitamin $3.50
CVS vitamin $3.50
store ad -3.50

or something like that?

I'm just wondering how much I have to get to use $3/$10 CVS brand here. I am wondering if buying 3 vitamins

$3.50 X 3 = 10.50

is considered $10 worth vitamins although since it is BOGO, total will be $ 7

or if I have to purchase enough vitamins to bring the total up to $10, does that make sense?

I am pretty sure that once they scan your card and hit subtotal it takes that amount off which would mean you would need to buy more. I would like to know if that is correct though!

You should only have to get enough of them to equal $10 BEFORE the discount. Thats how mine has done it anyways.

Dh tried last night w/ the BOGO candy. The minute they hit subtotal the free candy comes off...this is before they do Qs...no control.

I believe it is when they hit total. I just thought it went into the system that way but when the green m&m's were BOGO I got 6 of them and I gave all my coupons and then ecb's and ran it down to like 1.XX and then she hit total and the next thing I know I was almost 12 dollars negative so I had to quickly grab batteries. It was crazy. I've never had that happen before. They've always hit the total first.
