If the ad doesn't say excludes travel size and the item fits into the req yet doesnt track, you can show them the ad and they will force the ecb. I know this is a ymmv kind of thing but if you follow it to a t they need to honor it. If they don't you can call corp they'll have the regional / store manager get in touch with you. This happened to me a few times.

One in particular was during the Venus/Olay buy 30 g 10. The ad stated ALL gillette was included in the deal. I had bought a cart and single razor, and 2 disposables (all Venus aka Gillette) with b1g1 pg coupons. Anyways for whatever reason the only thing that didn't track was the single razor, which was weird because it was the same exact kind as the 2 bags of disposables...during my next trip I showed the ad,pointed out the wording, and she printed my ecb.

Ps there is a 1.50 off band aid and neosporin coupon at Walmart.com/bandaid and it doesn't have any size req. Just do the 4 question quiz and bam get the smallest qualifying prod you can find

I saw the tags for the free first aid kit wyb select Caladryl and select Neosporin today. There is no Cortaid so I could not see if that was tagged as well. Promo runs through 8/4. Be aware FA kit may not come off at the register automatically. You may need to point out signage to a cashier so make sure your store has signs up for the product you are buying if you do this deal. No limit was noted on the receipt (and I am guessing it is essentially unlimited if it isnt happening automatically).
