Hi all,

We are planning a baby shower and I said I would be in charge of getting the prizes for the baby shower games. I figured I could get some great deals at CVS but now I don't know what to get. I can hardly give out shampoo or conditioner, right? Lol. And this is for a girl at work and they will all be work colleagues.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I went to bath and body works during their big semi annual sale and got a bunch of lotion and hand soap really cheap. I know their sale was just going on and might even still be. Also I put a basket full of all the different make up I had gotten for free and that was a HUGE hit. I was really worried they would think it was dumb but they were so excited and said it was such a good idea and best prizes they ever got! I also did the party favors and in each bag I put 2 Revlon nail polish , 2 sally Hanson nail files, a pack of soft lips, and a handful of hershey kisses. Another big hit and All I paid for were the hershey kisses good luck!

Sorry to hijack but I was thinking about doing something similar for my friend's bridal shower next weekend. Nail polish, nail files/buffer, PF lip gloss, etc. I like the idea of adding chocolate. Thanks!

For my daughter's baby shower I used things such as candles, magnetic note pads, fingernail polish, eye makeup, lotion, etc. I set it all out on a table and each person that won a game chose their own prize. As each person who hadn't won a game departed, they were invited to choose an item as well.
