I purchased Physcians formula today for the gas card deal and the register only counted then discounted price of the makeup toward the gas card. Same thing for my daughter. We are both still $20 away from the gas cards. Sadly it's the first time I took her. I told her she'd be hooked after today. We kept the makeup since it such a good deal with the $7 discount. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes! I got lipgloss, priced at $9.99-$7.00 instant savings= $2.99 that went towards gas card. I originally thought the 9.99 would go towards the gas card, but I think that's just too good to be true!

Everyone's should ring and count this way. They will only give you credit towards gas card, ECBs and beauty club for the amount items ring up for, it's always like that.

Yes, only the purchase price counts toward the gas card- not the retail price. You're lucky to have found any Physicians Formula at your store. I went in to my 24 hr CVS and upon discovering the entire PF section empty was told that a single lady went in there and bought ever last one of them with coupons. Argh- I just wanted 1.

Really? I messed up on this, I can't believe I misunderstood after shopping at CVS for so long. Oh well, we got some great deals on makeup and more towards my beauty club reward. I'm glad I checked in here so I can decide if I want to buy more. Thanks everyone.

The shelves were full at my store. I expected them to be empty so I was surprised.

It's not a problem.. Its a sale. Sales ring up as sale prices. I don't understand why some people think the regular price of an item will count when it's on sale. All my items rang up .49, .29, .79, 1.29 and so on, which is the expected amount.

Yeah, I didn't expect mine to be cleared at 6AM when I went to the 24 hr store- but apparently the lady went in there at midnight and did just that. It's okay though- I went to another CVS location on the outskirts of town and I found plenty in stock. I picked up an eye shadow for $7.89 (free after $7 discount and my $1/1 coupon) and one of those neat-looking green concealers for $8.29 (only $0.18 after overage from the eyeshadow). So two products for only $0.18 out of pocket. I may not have gotten 60 free concealers/eye shadows/glosses and a gas card- but I'm a happy camper just the same.

My store had 3 eye shadows at $7.89 and the $.89 went to my next gas card, Came home to re-figure... harumph!

I wish it was possible to pre-order at my cvs around me but alas, nope! Anyway, like you, everything was out too, BUT I did find 3 eyeliners so I'm pretty happy as well! Yay, us!

I'm sorry to hear everyone having issues with the gas card. So weird because when i checked my recipt the retail cost went towards the gas card.

I don't think the retail counted. There's no way it could have since the sale price is what the register rings up.

I am about $12 away from getting the gas card...the regular price didn't count towards it(but I knew that) just the sale price with the $7. So I purchased the eye liners that were about $1.29 after the $7 off and paid $0.29 for it after the mfq...hope this makes sense...my store didn't have that much that were cheap...but overall got a good deal of things. thanks.

If your store is cleared out it really sucks, but a good part is you can stop in and get RC everyday! These come on ecb deals frequently for spend $X get $X ecb. Mine was cleared out of everything @ $7-$8 so I got RC. Can't get gas card on RC but the sale price you can!

My store manager said CVS is phasing out Physician formula. that is why they are so cheap. So stock up now...

They have been saying that since the $5 PDF coupon from last year. CVS runs the $7 off deal multiple times throughout the year.

I was shocked to find tons of the PF concealers at all 4 of the stores I checked out today. Couponers in my area have really slacked off, so lately I'm not running into a lot of cleared shelves. I don't use concealer, so I didn't buy any of them. Got eyeliners, eyeshadows, bronzers and mascara instead. Paid more for them, but got stuff I will actually use. Didn't feel like hauling all those concealers home and trying to figure out what to do with them just for a free gas card. Last time they had a sale on these, I got a bunch of free concealers and couldn't give them away, . Nobody wanted them...

Bahahaha I already bought almost 30 items. Got $70 in gas cards. Tax wasn't super bad. It surprised me.
