| CRTs can only be used on the card they printed for. That CRT printed daily. I did scan 4 cards that week, though (I'm the only one who was willing to stop by CVS every single day to get the good coupons ) but they were sold out of H&S the week they printed so just now getting to use them.

I have a question about overage. Do all CVS stores treat overage the same? For example I had q's for Wet n Wild $1/1 and the rain check for .99 so for 5 of them the last q had to be adjusted down to .95. Does that mean in a scenario like you have below my store would not give me overage or is that a different situation? |

Also, the register will allow mfr coupons up to the price of the total number if applicable items. So if you had a $3/2 for something that was only $1, you could get 3 free.

Theres a dermasilk 5.00 coupon in the rp 6/24/12 for 5.00 off any dermasilk full size product. It expires 7/7/12. But if anyone has a store that has early activation one could use this coupon and get the 10.00 ecb. I have no idea what dermasilk costs.

Would the CVS Garnier Fructis deal work if you only got 5 shampoo/conditioner @ 2.99 ea. or would I need to add something because it would be .05 cents short of $15 to get the ECB?

is it just me that my local cvs's do not give overage at all even if its a manufacture coupon not a cvs coupon :/ plus at mine if a item that is buy one get one half off the person puts the lowest value on the coupon ahhh the price of living in california love the weather sometimes but hate that there is no doubling here :O = no free stuff well not as often as other states!

MQs will always need to be adjusted down if they are too much. In the example above, if your MQ was $3/3, it would beep and need to be adjusted to $2.99. You would still $2 overage for the store Q. Some CVS qs will go through at full value regardless of purchase price. The cashier should adjust it down but may not realize it. I am in a lower price area so sometimes a free CRT auto deducts a few cents more than the actual price. Is this not what happens in your store? Technically cvs does not give overage so if they are adjusting everything down to total purchase price, I believe they are technically correct.

If the store writes in $5.99 CVS would take a $3.50 loss on every coupon that auto deducted. A woman came to my CVS store last Saturday and bought 46 bottles using 23 coupons. If the store hadn't been aware of the auto deduction they would have lost over $80 selling that shampoo. I've used 4 coupons so far. I could have cost the store $14. I plan to use another 4 tonight so that's $28. I get so many free items and MM there already I don't see the need to use the coupon in that manner. I'm certainly not the morality police or coupon patrol - those are just my thoughts. You can certainly do what you feel comfortable doing.

Does anyone know if they are auto'ing for the $9.49 anywhere else or just at CVS? Am thinking of PM'ing some at Wally if stock is low and just wondered if it is going to be a pain or not.
