Just got my 7/1P&G and noticed that H&S BOGO Q is free up to $ 9.49 . How will that work for B1G1 50% this
Week ? Any ideas ?

According to CS, you get the one that is reg. price for free. If you have a problem call CS and they will call the store for you like they did for me.

If they have a BOGO free sale, and you have a BOGO free coupon, you get both for free. So it doesnt make sense if they have a BOGO 50% off that you get the 50% off one free. Good luck!

Actually some people contacted CS and were told that the lower amount should be taken off. So different reps will give you different answers. This is a very YMMV situation since its not spelled out in the policy.

For me its a different case everytime with B1G50%.. One cashier will give me full price off ,other will debate on just giving half off .Its simply crazy... Gosh i am thinking of inviting all the cvs cashiers and managers to my house and giving them a free CVS coupon policy lesson.... atleast we all willl be on the same page then..

Assuming you buy in quantities of 8 to get Gas Card

$5.99 x 4
$2.99 x 4
------------
$35.92
-$23.96 ($5.99 * 4 B1G1 coupon)
-$2.00 ($1/2 H&S Coupon from 5/06 RP)
-$2.00 CVS shampoo Q (I have scanned every day to get a lot of these)

Total = $7.96 get back $10.00 Gas card

Can be a higher MM with more $2 off any shampoo CVS coupon
plus it counts for beauty club..

Unless the coupon states that the lesser one must be the free one, point out in the coupon policy how CVS would handle a BOGO free coupon. The only logical extrapolation from that is that the full priced one is what the BOGO coupon should be.

This is not YMMV...this is the problem with speaking to reps, they generally give you a generic answer. I called while in the store and spoke to a supervisor, (Stephanie), and she put me on hold to speak with a member of their legal dept. When she came back on, she specifically told me that ALL STORES, should be giving the FULL PRICED ITEM FREE, as thats how the store will be getting paid back by the manufacture. The store sale is if you "buy" one at full price, (the manufacture pays for this one as the coupon is the same as cash), you will get the second one at half off from the store, NOT the manufacture.

So in the future, I hope that everyone dont fall for the generic answer that a rep gives, ask to speak to a supervisor.

Also, Stephanie called the store while I was still there, and told them that this is how ALL stores should be handeling BOGO 50% off sales with BOGO Coupons. Even the manager who is very friendly with me was apologetic and said he never knew that, but him and I get along great, Ive always been helpful with passing along info to him, as well as him to me. He even called a couple other CVS stores in the general vacinity and they all said that they were told by CS that the full priced item is free...not the 50% off item.

So I urge everyone to be diligent in getting answers from someone who knows what they are talking about. Most reps I have talked to dont know the first thing about coupons. I ALWAYS goto a supervisor.

What I like to do with situations that stores make mistakes on...I always call ahead to make sure they understand first how something works, even if its a week ahead of time, and if they dont get it, I call CS and speak to a supervisor. I call sometimes a week ahead of times, cuz I do most of my shopping Saturday at turn of sales, and of course CS is closed at that time, so, certain transactions cant be put on hold till Monday, as coupons expire, for example in my 6/30 plan, the Cover Girl q's expire the 30th. But once the supervisor confirms Im right, then I'll ask to give a courtesy call to the store. Its not that they are mean or anything, its just that not all employees are up to date on every kind of situation that could happen. With CVS sales being so awesome, ALOT of the employees appreciate the help in being made aware of certain things, and of course they can take better advantage of the sales for themselves too. CVS is the best store EVER. Their customer service, far surpasses any other stores customer service. I LOVE CVS.

I just looked at my region's ad on cvs.com and Head & Shoulders is not part of the gas card. It is advertised to be $6.19 each.

You are looking at this weeks ad correct?? bc its in my gas card deal for the current week, it is right next to the giant mt dews and pepsi sale that says $5/5 on page 3

Also a part of the gas card deal:
Buy:
4 at $5.99
4 at $2.98 which is b1g1 half off
total is $35.88

Use 4 b1g1 q's (takes off $23.96)
Use 5 of the $2 cvs q's (minus $10.00
plus use 2 of the $1.00 off of 2 (minus $2.00)

i just had to type this up again cause i screwed up the firs time
the bogo coupon for H and S si subracting 9.49 from the total price. This is actually a 6 cent mm. If you consider the gas card and if you have any 2 off crt's it's a huge mm.
