| Super nice cashier comment
I drive right by a small CVS on my way to work every morning. I probably stop to scan at least 3 times a week and make a purchase at least once a week. I am moving out of state in three weeks and happened to mention it to my favorite cashier this morning. He looked completely shocked. He said he already wasn't looking forward to summer since I wouldn't be there often (I don't live in the area, I commute about 50 minutes). He said he just couldn't believe I was leaving, it wouldn't be the same without me. I am really sad about this move, in part sad to leave many of my CVS', but he really made my day. I am still very sad to go but it was really nice to know he enjoys my visits as much I enjoy talking to him. He has never commented on my purchases as far as wanting a deal himself so I can't pass on any great savings but I am seriously considering calling CS to let them know how much I will miss him and maybe giving him a little card (we got plenty free, right?). Is that completely goofY? He definitely makes me smile every morning I see him.

Awww... Contacting CS is probably the best thing you can do for him but a card would be sweet too. |

If I was a cashier, I would be pretty stoked to get a card. And the call into CS as well as the store manager would be pretty great too!! ![]() Quote:

I say both I have same dilemma but different circumstances. The cvs I love is 20miles away and school is over for me. I thought maybe sometimes I can pop over in summer since Bf works next door. A job offer came up and seems if I take it i don't think I'll visit 20 miles (m-sat job 8-5pm) so sad I did not know this yesterday to give my fav cashier a card but next best thing is to contact cs about the great staff I shall miss!!!!

Maryland. Let me tell you how disappointed I was to find MD has the same pre-coupon tax laws that NJ does

Maryland does tax...6%. It's also on the pre-coupon total it sucks but you get used to it.

Today my SM told me if you call the survey on receipt, it will go directly to store manager, but if you call CS or email CS, those will go to the district manager. So she encourages me to do both for my fav cashier/store, hint hint...;-) That's so nice of him to say those nice words to you, don't they just make you all warm and fuzzy inside?! I know I did today when my girls in my fav store, including my SM(!), said to me they sure are going to feel sad if one week I'm off to vacation and they miss the whole week of me not being there! ohhhhhh.... It also shows I spent way too much time in that store! (Blushing) |

My cvs said that if we call in to do the survey and mention the cashier name the cashier gets $5.

I've done the survey, but after the survey, I've only been told "You're not a winner, but leave your name blah blah blah to be entered into the whatever contest." Where would I leave the cashiers name? |
