Am I really so stupid that I can't figure this one out? OK, so I bought 2 Gillette razors and 2 Covergirl mascaras and was all excited about submitting for the rebate. Now, this isn't going to work, right? I should just chalk it up to really inexpensive and move on or is there a rebate available on these products?

The spend 50.00 get 10.00 rebate is still good at CVS. As long as purchases were made in the time frame on the rebate. Thats the only other rebate I know of that will work with CVS. I was dissapointed with the Thank you Mom rebate wasnt good at CVS, because I got 4 of the Covergirl, and 2 disposable razors (Venus 3 pcks that are 11.29 each) just so I could submit this rebate. Then the next day I got my other rebate returned, and called, and thats when I found out about both of the rebates werent valid

I know. I also sent in a rebate. Now, I'm waiting for a rejection letter. Lol

Instead of just waiting for the rejection letter, contact the p and g and the clearing house. Let them know that the purchase was made with receiving the rebate in mind based on the information that you had received prior to your purchase. If enough of us do it, they may change their minds and honor the rebate as a goodwill gesture rather than face the bad publicity of not honoring what their representatives told us. There have been a couple of companies that have reversed their decision to not honor a rebate after enough people have contacted them!
