Cuz thats how it works. The deal if you buy one you get the other one 50% off. So, you get the one for the 50% off and the manufacture pays for the full priced item. Makes sense for stores to do it this way. Why only get credit from the manufacture for the lower priced item, when they can get credit for the full priced item and pass the savings onto the consumer. I dont think there has ever been a need for them to put something like this in their policy. HTH

I really like the look of this deal but I'm a bit nervous about it's execution. My store requires the managers approval for any coupon value that exceeds their limit value, I don't actually know the value limit I just know a while back I had a coupon that took off $12.99 and they had to have a little meeting about whether they could accept it or not. Which is kind of silly because I get more then just $12.99 in savings with the total number of smaller valued coupons I use so why getting that much off on just one coupon is an issue I don't quite understand. Then again I didn't understand why it took them an hour to decide it was okay either. Also I know they should take off the higher priced item for the free part of the bogo but my store is always a bit odd about these things, the manager once took off my $1/1 coupon off an item and then took that reduced priced item off as the free item for my bogo coupon, it what world does that make sense?

I'm going to try this in the morning. buy 4 clearasil perfect wash $19.99 ea. and bogo 50%...and the cheapest filler you can find (only 0.04 is needed...). $59..96 (plus filler...so i'll say 60.96). use 3 $4/20, 2 bogos, and 2 $3/1. TOTAL $3.96 AND GET $5 IN BEAUTY BUCKS...YAYYY

If you wait to have them scan your CVS card until after they after they have scanned all your coupons, the BOGO 50% won't show up until after the coupons have all been entered and both units will show up as reg. price on their screen. This is how I deal with one of my CVS stores that always give me problems. Works every time. Thanks to the OP for the HU btw!

My 1 store had 3 and my other store had 1. I was very busy today and didn't do the deal yet, but I had chatted with my cashier about it. I even referred her to this site since she said she was just starting couponing!

I just left CVS and have never had a cashier call a manager, but tonight she did. I was wondering what was going on. Now I know, but I do have to say at my favorite store, I did not have any problems using this coupon.

O, also at my store they only had two on the shelf. Not sure if more was in the stockroom, but I just want you all to be aware of this.

I'm good with 2 or zero because that means RC. 1 however seems like a nightmare.
