Stores around here seem to have a higher regular retail price but the sale price is generally consistent unless there are 2 tiers of sale prices, then we get the higher one. We got the 4.99 pricing this time. I hope you did too!

The email coupon is off of a beauty purchase (which I would take to mean anything that counts as a BC purchase), the CRT is off of cosmetics--a sub category of BC. I do find it interesting that the email specifies nail polish and cosmetics as if they are two separate categories. Hmmm...

We did have sale price of 4.99! I bought three, used my 3/10 crt, and used three tearpad qs (which beeped and the cashier was confused. He looked at the coupon, then looked at the product and asked "this is nail polish right?" poor guy) He pushed it through. Kind of weird that my qs beeped. But I did get my 9 ecbs

I will share the explanation for the beepage that I have heard. Nail polishes that have the truncated UPC on the bottom of the bottle will beep. Nail polishes that have the long code on the side of the brush handle will not beep. This explanation makes sense and follows what I have personally observed with my purchases.

Glad you got the sale price! The only stores that activate early that I know of around here have the higher pricing tier. I always screw up scenarios for trying to take advantage of both weeks sales because i forget to only use things that are sale priced.

Oh hm! I havent done this deal enough to see which beeped/which didn't. Thanks! The store i usually go into doesn't activate early nor is it a 24/7. Im afraid of shopping out of my comfort zone in such a big city (it's big to me anyway! Lol) so I'm pretty limited in how many stores I can shop at. (due to my scardy cat syndrom) :p

I only have 3 cvs around me and like you, I haven't found any either. I really wish we had tearpads around. In fact, since I started couponing in Feb, I haven't found any tearpads! Even the CVS on campus has none -- and all the students are gone now too. So strange!!

CRT stands for Cash Register Tape. What it means at CVS is coupons that print on the bottom of your receipt or that print at the red coupon machine. Our list of acronyms: Acronyms & Abbreviations- A Full Cup - Coupons

Ya'll are killing me! LOL I recently moved from the city to a smaller, more rural area. I'm used to running around the city, all areas- good and bad, all hours of the day and night. Around here, I swear, they roll the sidewalks up at dusk and everybody goes home. Me? I'm driving all over 3 counties looking for 24 hour stores! My family (living here) are shocked and "worry" all the time. Insomnia and all those years in the city have taken the edge off long ago. Go for it, ladies!!

Being military, we move ALL the time. Since we've been married, we have moved 6 times in 6 years. this is the biggest city yet. The biggest duty station we were at was Camp Lejeune in North Carolina - loved the ocean. Not so much base traffic ! The outer "city" Jacksonville can no way compare to this place we're at now. People are always out and about. I still have to get use to the area/stores around here and we've been here almost a year.
I would never run around this city at all hours! You are one brave soul!!

Unfortunately no, you need to have a total of $30, $10 of which cosmetic, to use both.
