I bought a nail polish clearance priced at 1.49, used $2 coupon paid tax. It did not appear to track so I put back the clearance and focused on the eyeshadow that was RR $4.99. That worked perfectly as expected. Coupon just scanned too. It was one of those rare (for me) beautifully planned out trips that actually went according to plan.

Ironically the ad does not have the usual *excludes clearance* disclaimer so some might have luck with it. It was the type of clearance that just rang up at the clearance price. I have a feeling if the price had to be over ridden then it might have tracked. Oh well, still a great deal.

The Mini Hershey candy King size (how can it be both Mini and King???) plan worked perfectly with overage applied to other items. It doesnt look like they are on sale for the week of 5/20-26 so it is moot really.

Went to CVS today and noticed new (since yesterday) clearance Loreal cosmetics. Most of it around the 1.50-2.50 mark. There is a nice, fresh Loreal $2 tearpad right there too. Who knows what I am wondering?

I know clearance is generally excluded from the ECB/CC/GC deals but every so often something sneaks by and is included. The last big MMer clearance deal that I partook in was in fact even Loreal, the haircolor. Store is 24 hours but does not activate early. If I am up at midnight (and who could sleep knowing this possibility...no sane person, right?!?) I plan to try a few to see if they are included unless someone here tells me that she did try it at her early activating store and it didnt count.

Had some fun this afternoon with the Schick BOGO coupons, Pantene, Refreshers, Breathe Rights, Cottonelle Covers, Stayfree and Tostitos. Both the Pantene and Schick BOGOs rang in for the max amount.This is me being mad at and staying away from CVS.

I found five hanging on a strip near the aspirin. I would check all the hangers in the pharmacy area as well as the little convenience items near the registers. I only saw them at one store out of 3 today. I believe they are left over from a promotion over the winter.

Not bragging here but almost every store has them around here and it feels like I am the only one expressing interest. I believe I first saw tham in early March and have taken 1 or 2 from every one that I see. Since they are expiring in a couple of weeks I might have been a little more aggressive grabbing them this week. We dont get plenty of the great coupons that I see people talking about on here so I do believe it balances out in most cases.

Tear pads are a rare thing in the stores around me. Every once in a while I will see one at the Dollar Store or maybe a blinkie machine at Krogers. Other than that they are extinct.

just did the l'oreal deal in a store that activates early and no gas card ecb came out!!!! very unfriendly store - will take to another store tomorrow and see if they can force print it out or if i need to return (i hardly ever do returns ) aaarrrggg

Ha, I moved from IN to NY and 10 years later I am still less than thrilled to be here. Not that I dont have a great life here and would certainly miss some people but NY is very different from NY.

I have never done a CC/GC at an early activation store but I thought people reported it working in the past. I got some Stayfree and Tostitios at an early activation store today and it tracked. Did yours track and just no voucher printed out or didnt it track at all?

Gas card deals definitely activate early, too.

I really, REALLY try to stay away from cosmetic purchases on Saturday nights. It seems like cosmetics are always on sale both weeks and the register will pick whichever deal it likes best. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

They can't force print a gas card voucher so I would recommend returning and rebuying.

I noticed another GDA for those that got the 0.50 off Hershey Minis MF coupon (5/20 SS) and the $2/2 CRTs. They are buy 2get one this week (week ending 4/19) and about 1.87 RR. Buy 3 use 1 CRT and 3 coupons, pay 0.24. Buy 6 and use 3 CRTs and 6 coupons for a -0.52 balance (should work since the CRT brings it negative. Or buy 9, use 4 CRT and 9 coupons for a -1.28 balance. Only 3 hours EST to do this deal unless the king sized minis are b2g1 next week too!

I live in central IN but I find tearpads all the time. From ft Wayne to Indianapolis. Thats weird. I find them in drug stores, gas stations, & grocery stores.

I find them a lot in IL, BUT, I think it is cause the insert coupons are HORRIBLE - most weekends like less than 5 terrible coupons and the rest are JUNK ads

Thank God for them because otherwise I would have NOTHING to trade with people!

I got that today too and was super happy! I am wondering if one of those will print every day this week.

BTW, there is another MMer/ Loreal GC thread. I saw your comment there so maybe that is what happened. I posted this separate thread because I saw all the clearance Loreal and was hoping that would count towards the GC (it didnt).
