In this weekend's Smart Source, there will be BOGO Schick razor coupons. This month some Schick razors are $7.99 & get $10 ECB wyb $25.

I got my Smart Source early so i gave it a try. My BOGO Qs deducted the full $10.50. I got 4 razors, used 2 BOGO Qs, & 2 $3/$15 FB Qs. So it was a $5.04 MM for me.

If your Qs also deduct $10.50, MM. If not, free/cheap razors, depending on whether you have $3/$15 Qs.

Edit: Be prepared that your cashier may adjust the Q down ---

I was trying to decide whether or not to use my last few 3/15 FB q's, since it's break even if they only take the 7.99. But, if they take off 10.50 I might reconsider. Thanks OP.

This is a monthly deal at CVS, so this will work all month long, not just the 18th and 19th. So no need to rush out to do the deal.

I tried this tonight. The bogo beeped and said the coupon exceeded the limit. So she called a manager and they both decided to ring it for $7.99. Not money maker for me. Paid with $12 ECB and got $10 back.

No the coupon didn't deduct the full $10.50. Your cashier deducted the full $10.50 instead of checking the purchase price. Not trying to be insulting or anything because you didn't do anything wrong but in the end you got "lucky" with a cashier who did that rather then deduct the $7.99 they should have deducted.

She knew the purchase price was $7.99 because it's all I bought. It deducted the $10.50 instead of giving her the option to type $7.99. The previous poster said that her coupon beeped & said something like "coupon exceeded limit" so the manager adjusted it down.

I think that there are coupons out there for $2/1 Hydro 5 (if included) and $1/1 any schick razor that you can pair with the bogo coupons.

I havent used this coupon yet bet it sounds like it is like the Speedstick BOGO. If that is the case the coupons is automatically deducting the 10.50. Yes there was some luck in the cashier not correcting it. There are also BOGO coupons that the cashier has to always enter in the value, much like the current Pantene coupon. Overage is much more likely in the Speedstick coupon, I think that is what RAGuru meant.

$7.99 x 4 = $31.96 - 2 BOGO @ $7.99 = $15.98 - 2 $1/1 = $13.98 - 2 $3/$15 = Pay $7.98

My friend just tried this today & the cashier voided the $10.50 & manually typed in a $7.50 coupon.

There didnt seem to be any extra maneuvering so I am guessing no beeps. I cant hear the beeps usually.

Both times 20 something year old men cashiers. As long as I buy the right stuff and the register isnt cranky they are usually cool with whatever happens. Of course there are exceptions but these two were great!

The BOGO does not attach to both because I used some $1 Qs from a few weeks ago.

However, I'm not sure if the BOGO Q will work on Intuition. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the razors with replacement cartridges like Intuition count as disposable razors?

I cant speak to if it will work but I remember this same issue a few months ago. The general consensus was that the razors that are meant to be thrown away whole are disposable. The ones with replaceable heads are not. I believe the company was contacted and that was what we were told.

Thank u! That makes sense, totally overlooked the word "disposable" and incorrectly did this deal with the schick quattro (not the disposable), oops! The coupon went through for $10.50 though. Plan on doing this deal a couple more times with the correct razors now that I know.

I know that the Schick deal is a month long deal. Are the purchases made in one week tracking and carrying over into the next week? Or is it resetting to zero after each week? Life interveened and I was unable to get back to CVS on Saturday to get my total up to the $25 threshold.

I usually try to have all my purchases completed by Friday (or Saturday morning at the latest) to avoid complications.
