| Pantene
I got 6 pantene mouses and used a 4/20, 3 b1g1f coupons and a $1 off 2 and a 5 ecb and paid $1.65 in cash and got back a 1 ecb so not bad for 6 products. I can still get a $1 ecb for the pantene it only prints 1 ecb per transaction no matter how many you get.

Does anyone know if we could use the Pantene purchase for the Proctor and Gamble $10 rebate that starts 4/29/12? If so this could be a money maker...right??

It took me a while to understand it too, but each BOGO coupon attaches to two items, the one you bought, and the one you got for free - so you can't really also then use a $/2 coupon, since the BOGO coupons have already applied to the ones you've paid for to qualify you for the free ones.

the coupons were definitely use CORRECTLY. CVS allows 2 coupons on a b1g1 sale since she bought at least 4 products it is a legit deal. example use 2 b1g1 and 1 $1/2 pantene 1 - attaches to b1g1 = free pantene 2 - attaches to b1g1 = free pantene 3 - attaches to $1/2 = -$.50 pantene 4 - attaches to $1/2 = -$.50 this is EXACTLY like the Olay deal last month!

I agree with the above post. CVS coupon policy does allow this!

I need to ask this question hope I can ask this here. It's not about the Pantene, but is about a b1g1f. I bought the 36ct. Playtex and used the b1g 18ct free. I also had a coupon for $1/1 playtex the cashier said it wouldn't allow that one because I got the 18ct free is this correct? Sent from my iPod touch using AFullCup |

it didn't beep when i used the $1/2. I paid for 3 of them so I figured the $1/2 would go for those.

I found another deal for the larger size pantenes that make them 1.59 each if you have 2 4/20 and 3 b1g1f coupons and a $1/2 coupon and a 25% coupon. buy 6 at 6.99 41.94 - 2 of the 4/20=33.94 and if you have the 25% coupon -8.46=25.49 3 b1g1f pantene coupons -14.97=10.51 and a $1/2 coupon =9.51 making each bottle about 1.59 for the large bottles. plus you will almost have your $5 beauty bucks making these under a buck each. | Not true. There were three that she was paying for. She could have used an additional $/1 if she had one somewhere, too.

Buy 8 Pantene 25 oz bottles regular retail of $6.99 at $55.92 - $3/$15 purchase facebook q (x3)} $9 = $46.92 -25% off q} $11.76 - 4 BOGO qs ($6.99x4)}27.96 -$1/2 q (x2)}$2 = $5.50 oop (plus tax) Get $5 in Beauty EBCs and submit it for the $10 wyb $50 rebate. Thus $9.50 Money Maker after the rebate and Ebcs. That works right? Granted I'd have to do all this between 4/29-4/30 for everything to work out right. Do you think 8 bottles is shelf clearing? I mean they have at least 6 different varieties at my store... (of course this is assuming that my store carries them for $6.99 regular retail, think they do but I can't remember...)

That 25% off q doesnt always work out that way...it changes with coupons used etc, so I would give some room for that amount to change. But all in all thats sounds like a good deal. |

I know the 25% off coupon varies but I was under the impression that it changed due to CVS coupons/discounts but not manufacturer coupons. See that's why I did the 25% off after the $3/$15's but yeah, it seems like a bit of a complicated/shaky deal so I'm definitely giving it wiggle room. Thanks for the advise!

I don't think it specifically says it in writing somewhere? But, the BOGO coupon is only applying discount to one item, the other is just a qualifier to get the one free and is available for discount via coupon. Same concept that makes all those B2G1 deals work. I looked through the FAQ real quick and didn't see where it says anything one way or the other, but I know people have called & emailed and have been told that it's a go. I'll see if I can find one of those threads. |
