I never knew how to get free toothpaste!

I am so thankful to find this forum where everyone are just so nice and supportive. I still cannot believe I paid full price for toothpaste or diapers before! I can even get my "prettyfying" stuff for close to free! I AFC and all it's awesome members!

This forum actually keeps my family alive. Having owned my own business for 30 years, we lost everything to this economic disaster. We depleted our entire savings trying to keep our business doors open and the disaster continued to worsen to the point we were forced to close.

I was one who could easily blow 300 or 400 a week at Harris Teeter, never considering coupons. I used to be annoyed when CVS stuck those extra bucks on my receipt. I would just toss them in the trash when I got home.

Now unemployed and savings gone, this forum is my life support. I am now so sincerely humbled and so thankful to be able to keep food on the table and medicine in the cabinet.

I could never do it without the people here. Couponing does not come natural to me, so I 'm always anxious to see the scenarios put forth in this forum.

Usually there will be a forum on CVS scenarios, and people will list what they bought and what coupons they used and what their final out of pocket (OOP) was. Until I become more experienced myself, I follow what they buy to a T .

I confess, I too used to pay full price for toothpaste. I also used to use coupons here and there but without much thought or planning. Then last year when I was pregnant with my youngest son I got pretty sick so I couldn't do much. That left me a lot of time to surf into the vast nothingness of the internet while my oldest was at school. I came upon this site when I was reading about the "extreme" craziness because I just had to prove that I was right and that there was some kind of shenanigans going on with that show. (I'm becoming a prosecutor and I had to take a semester off from law school when I was pregnant and I needed my criminal law fix!!!)
Lo and behold I was right and I felt vindicated! LOL! Then I made the mistake of actually watching it after I found this site. Oh the horror! Seriously, the rampant crime made my stomach churn. It was one thing to read about it and figure out what was really going on, but it was something else to actually see them air criminal activity on TV and try to pass it off as legitimate! I lurked for quite a while and then just couldn't take it any more! I had to join! I have learned a lot since I've been here and I sincerely appreciate the time and effort everyone puts into this site! THANK YOU AFC!!!

if only i knew about AFC when my kids were in diapers. i coulda bought a lexus with all the money i spent. this is the absolute best website and i have written AFC on many a napkin or scratch paper when waitresses and clerks ask me how i saved so much money. AFC has helped us buy a house! No lie, we figured out the amount of money that we were spending before we started couponing, and every month put what we saved into our savings account. Every month, our deposit got bigger as our stockpile grew. A year later, and we have a pretty good down payment! Thank you so much AFC! Afc & afc'ers rock. I like 20 pages on Facebook but none have helped me as much as you guys. you guys are hard core other sites make a big deal about 1.50 for cereal but w/ afc I got a 4 month supply for practically nothing. I would ve never noticed clearence diapers at cvs w/out seeing it on here well now I will probly not have to buy diapers for the twins for a year. using afc I've saved enough on things that we've pretty much kept up a same standard of living since I've quit working to stay home. And I can use my stock pile to repay favors if friends give me rides or do me favors and won't take gas money I just give them soap or shampoo or something they never refuse that. So thank you guys so much for all you do.

I have been to sooo many other sites and while I thank them for their hard work and sharing their deals, none compare to AFC!! I have been able to stock pile so many things we were constantly running out of, I have so many friends & family that I could help. I love the fact that I have been able to donate lots of personal care items and make up to the local women's shelter, for those women such a small gesture means the world to them!

I have been following for awhile and everyone swears AFC is the best so I've been spending more time here. I have to agree. You guys are so far ahead on things that I score so many deals. I just had my new babysitter come and fill up two bags full to take home for her and her teenage kids. I don't have a "huge" stockpile but being able to help others has been so great!!

This forum has shown me so many ways to save money, coupons, rebates and such. It has allowed me to be able to help those around me going through tough times. It has helped me become closer to my sister (my couponing buddy), and most importantly... It helped keep us afloat when I was laid off in December. I was out of a job for over 6 months and not once did we need to worry about shampoo, toilet paper, toothpaste or any of the easy stockpile items. Living on hamburger helper and Knorr side dishes wasn't comfortable, but we made due because it was already here and it cut down on how much of my unemployment had to go to groceries. Thank you everyone for all you've taught me!

This forum has given me the opportunity to have things I never would be able to afford if I wasn't on it.I have so many shampoos and stylers and toothpaste etc.Since I became a mom all I do is put my kids first and make sure they have what they want, but AFC has shown me how to get all these wonderful bargains, that I could actually get some things that I like too and most of the times they are free or really really cheap, thank you AFC and all it 's leaders.

Oh my where do I start. If we are speaking of the Cvs Forum only. I have completely revamped the way I shop at Cvs since stumbling across this forum. I did a quick search 1 night after seeing softlips clearanced at Cvs that day, just knowing there had to be a coupon out there for it. Low and behold up came the clearance sticky for Cvs. for a while I just thought that Afc was a site devoted to posting clearance deals found @ Cvs. Eyes fluttering I soon learned it was sooooo much more. I found myself hopping on every night, and seeing things people posted, going to my Cvs the next day, scanning @ the red machine, and BAM sure enough it as ringing in @ a glorious price and add coupons into the mix. It was a win win for me. The girls started joking around @ my Cvs telling me you know the stuff we are marking down before we do.... Yep AFC. So one day I tried clicking on different tabs at the top. OMG! wait just a minute hold the phone am I seeing this right???? There are scenarios and match-ups and ads posted ahead of time. Holy cow! I was in love. I started stalking all the threads. I thought I had couponing down to a science. Wow, there was so much ore on AFC as a whole! Hot deals and contests, and every store you can ever imagine! It was like a virtual jungle gym for my mind. And I now have enough toothpaste to successfully spackle a wall... That would be interesting wouldn't it? a room smelling of free minty goodness. Just kidding. But seriously I have learned more on Afc in the time I have been on than I ever did on other sights and starting out on my own

I LOVE AFC! I check out this site at least 20 times a day. I dreamt about the deals n when I wake up, I only think about weekly deals. It's in my mind 24/7. The reason I have become so addicted to it was becuz I came from a family of 11 siblings. Mom pass away from cancer in 2008 n since then my dad has been in n out. I still have 10 younger siblings that needs care. As a girl, it's embarrassing to ask our dad to buy feminine product. So me being the 2nd oldest child, I stock up n give it to my sibling. Like things that they need, school supplies, clothes, food, hygiene products. It's really hard on them when they don't have government help. I have 3 kids of my own. 9 yrs old boy, 4 yrs old girl, n 2 months baby girl. Had a separation with my ex n got marry to my now husband. He has been taking care of all of us n he support my couponing hobby. It amaze him every time I show him my receipt.

AFC is the place I come to all hours of the day, everyday. I am truly addicted to this forum and CVS! I started 'major couponing' at CVS since May of this year and it says my total savings is over $3500 (at CVS), that is incredible! And I just keep getting better only because of AFC. This place has everything I need to know and if anything happens new, it gets posted here immediately! Not only is this forum great for the latest/best deals but everyone here is so helpful and great! There are many generous people here and I just love it.

This site has done more for my family then anyone could imagine. Months into my pregnancy complications started. By 5 months I was very restricted and my (nursing) job ended up firing me for " failure to meet work performance duties.". I lost insurance and all. 6 months pregnant i ended up with even more issues and racked up a large amount of medical bills. Had my little one only to find out that he had some health issues and needed 24/7 medical care and racked up even more medical bills. All the while my poor hubby is out busting his rear working day and night to just provide the basics and racking up debit on cards for the rest.... I then found this site about 3 am sitting in children's hosp with the baby.. and everything has changed. I no longer pay for anything household related... between points ecbs crts gcs Mir,ect I only spend about 25 a month oop for everything household related!!and already have a pretty decent stock pile going! All thanks to the amazing afc members.... all that money that's getting saved has paid off credit card debit. And allowed me to stay home and care for my little one instead of working and having someone else do it ... were now couponing to pay off our medical debit... and that growing stockpile if mine. Part will be going to military families in need that I have met at children's.... afc has really turned life around in this household and given us a way to help ourselves along with others!!!! I love it.. I am addicted ( on the site day and night)) and will never use another blog its just a waste when afc has it all in one place!!!

I use to coupon, years ago...but not to this extent..and this forum was not around then. But not only do i always tell people about this site, I stalk it 10 times a day!
I guess the only negative thing it has done is make me go less to the gym! I gt so excited to do a deal, that I dont make it to the gym! I know..real hassle huh? But with all the candy specials, and then missing the gym..AFC might help me gain weight!
But seriously, I love this site and am so thankful for the ones that help make it so great!!

My eyes have opened. I have learned sooooo much more on this forum than anywhere else on the internet. I have been a couponer for 3 years and I am finally really understanding it since I started utilizing AFC. Having a buddy has been the key for me!
