So I finally found a store with some of the Kotex that was 0.99 a few weeks ago. I had a rain check for 8 and the store had 2. Normally if I remember to ask when a rain check can be only partially filled, the cashier will write out a rain check for the remainder of the quantity that I wasnt able to get. Lucky me, I get the new cashier so she isnt sure if this is ok so she calls up a manager. Cashier starts explaining why she called the manager up and when she gets to the part about the rain check being written for 8, the manager says that's wrong the limit is 4. I say at this point that there was actually no limit on the sale and she says that every rain check is limited to 4, that I dont have a valid rain check and the store will not honor it. That's not correct, right?

I had issues with this same raincheck, different problem, my store wrote limit six when i first got the raincheck ans since they only had one product out i got that one asked her to order more and on the raincheck she just crossed out six and wrote 5 for the limit. :/

My problem was that she said it was a trial size. How the heck can 18 panty liners be a trial size??? Also they said they couldnt adjust it down. (how i was missing my coupon policy in my binder at home right now!!)She said she will put this one thru and thatll be it. Next time i go in ill definately have my policy in hand.

my raincheck was for 4. i had 7 coupons, but the cashier said 4 is the most she can write it for.
last week i found two on the shelf. she crossed out the "4" on the raincheck and wrote "two" next to it.

Two stores I went to back then, I got a rain check for 6 and one for 4 (didnt ask for a limit) so who knows what the limit really is..

Each store makes their own rain check policy I hate it especially when u may need 8 to get your ecb. Sometimes I argue but others I say just give me the 4. That is why I get a rain check every time and Every store I go to.....I think I have about 20 rain checks for the last speedstick sale...

I've gotten rainchecks on items with no limit and have been told the same thing. I just ask for more than one raincheck

BUT, it's not a company policy (AFAIK) and it's not a bad raincheck. Also, if they don't have enough to fulfill the RC, they should either reissue for what you have left or cross out the number and put in the remainder.

I was waiting to hear from you Robbo, I figured if it was policy you would know. When I get a chance I will write CS for clarification. FWIW I was able to use the raincheck today at 2 different CVSs for 2 each and left the last CVS with a raincheck for 4.

This is the same CVS where I have had every other difficulty. I just need to stop thinking it will improve there and skip it. I wish it werent the closest one...

Do you think cvs would get mad if the quantity on the receipt is 6 and you want 7 or 8? The u by kotex for $1 where there was no limit.

I can see some managers allowing it but they don't have to honor for a higher amount than what's listed. I'd pick the friendliest manager to ask

My cvs is unlimited pretty much because I've had them written out as high as 20. None of the stores around me have had a problem with it.

So I would say HER store's policy is limit 4 but not every store's policy. I'd call the store you got the rain check at and have them order them for you.

I got a rain check on the Skintimate $4ECB with a limit of 100. The cashier was surprised that the shelf tag clearly said a limit of 100 per hosehold, but wrote the rain check anyway.

Yeah, I have one of those too. At least I know now NOT to use that one!

As general company wide policy, no. However some stores will take expired MF coupons that go along with a raincheck. If you have any CVS coupons that will likely expire before a raincheck can be honored, have the cashier staple them to the raincheck so that they may be used whenever the raincheck is redeemed.

I agree - they may not accept them since CVS doesn't accept expired MQ but I know some managers will within a certain time period or if an item has been continuously out of stock.

Some beep, some don't, I'm not sure if the Kotex ones would.
