Soooooo... I think we may have a problem. I really, really hope we don't, but we could. Here's where my head is at.

Nabisco is 2/$5 both the week of 1/8 and 1/15 and both weeks it counts towards the gift card. Since there's no "better deal" and they are identical I'm worried that any Nabisco purchases will track towards the 1/8 GC deal and not the 1/15 GC deal.

This is especially problematic for me since I plan on maxing out on both GC promotions tomorrow night. If this happens I'll reach my limit on the 1/8 GC promotion too soon and will end up with not enough towards the 1/15 GC.

I'm really hoping someone might know which week the register picks up when the deals are identical both weeks. Anyone?

Thanks Dana, I was thinking the same thing with that and also the soda, the difference in price...So I think I will just wait until Sunday to do my shopping......

Yea I wondered about buying coke products Saturday night. I'm planning on maxing out my 5 gc limit so I think I will do as many as I can Saturday night (if they are ringing up $4/10) but make sure I end at a $30 amount.

Crossing my fingers that it works out because I am leaving early Sunday morning on a trip to the beach and I really don't want to have to buy coke products in Florida and bring them back to Mississippi!!

I wish I could wait until Sunday but I have 4 transactions planned with deals from both weeks included in each Gah. I'm buying $300 worth of items ($150 from each week) but I really think this is going to screw it up. Hopefully the manager understands and we can make it work.

The Coke I'm not too concerned with. It's 3/$10 here 1/8 and 4/$10 on 1/15 so the register should pick up the 4/$10 price.

I would not do this deal on sat night. I had a similar problem with the American greetings cards in Nov. I bought them sat night the last day of the sale and for the current week then went back the following week on tue. and my ecb didn't print. When I spoke to the cashier she said they activate the sale around 5-6pm sat for sunday sale and since my purchase was made after 6pm then I have reached the limit for the follwoing week not the one that the sale ended for.

So I would wait til sunday to do this deal. I have to do all of my coke nabisco deals on sunday since my coupons expire sunday.

Just so I'm understanding clearly (because this would actually work in my favor) when there were the $3 ECB wyb 3 American Greetings on back to back weeks when you went Saturday night it counted towards the deal that started Sunday, the following day?

If I read that right then I should be good to go since I WANT the Nabisco to count towards the 1/15 week and not the 1/8 week.

It could be a YMMV situation but I'm in So Cal and have been attempting this deal All week... I have bought 18 boxes thru out the week only to later realize that some don't track towards the deal... I bought all my recipts in and showed the manager and he printed me a 10ECB I'm guessing its the wheat thins that don't track... Definitly pay attention if your trying this deal this week...!!

Yes they counted for the following week not the week that I made the purchase for. So in your case they nabisco would count towards the 1/15 week. Hope this works out for you.

on a side not I made a purchase last sat at 9:55 and it did not track and print my GC's and I have to call.

I'm not sure if this will help. I was finishing up the PG gift card from a week ago with Pantene but the price for the 1/1 and 1/8 ads had Pantene at $3/$9.99. I was at a non-24 hr store so didn't think they changed over but they did at 4 and I checked out at 4:09. I spoke with the manager who gave me $10 ECBs. She told me they never know which way the register will go. It looks like in the store's favor in my case.

I really hope your deal works out!

You should be fine. The register picks the lowest price regardless of ECB or GC's. Since they will ring up at 4/$10, then they will go towards the 1/15 weeks GC deal.

I have no idea, I don't have a store I frequent that activates early but I really want to know what ends up happening so I can file that fact in my head as well

I needed to finish my 1/8 deal and I bought wheat thins today at 5, it tracked for 1/8.

Tonight my Nabisco tracked towards 1/15 sale so glad that worked out.
