I have a stupid but worthy question about the "free diaper coupon" that we earn when we buy 6. For example, if the diapers are on sale for $8.99, and we use and coupon for $3.00 off, would the "free" coupon deduct $8.99 making it a money maker plus the $1 extra care bucks too or just take off the rest? Anyone ever tried this? Thanks so much!

In my experience CVS "free" coupons usually automatically deduct the entire amount and mqs are adjusted down.

This is how it should work.

Also, CVS does state specifically in it's new policy that you cannot apply coupons to free items. So, although it's otherwise okay to stack store & mfr Q's on the same item, if one of the Q's makes it free then another Q shouldn't be used.

Could she possibly get another pack of diapers, since they are a great price this week, and then have all discounts fully apply? 1. Is that 'legal'? and 2. Would it work?

Yes, if two packs were purchased then definitely fine to use both coupons, but the ECBs would only print once since the limit is one. But then 2 more would count towards the next free pack as the freebies are counting.
