My husband and I went by CVS yesterday (the closest one to us, which is about 20 minutes away). DH picked up ONE of the Breeze 2 meters, had the coupon in hand, went to the register. The cashier told dh that they couldn't use the coupon. (Have never had a problem at other CVS's about coupons in the past) Well, he left, went next door to get soda at the grocery store, I stayed at CVS I wanted to get a few things before leaving. After DH left, I heard the cashier telling the pharmacist (the pharmacy is up behind the registers here) about the coupon and the sale. He said something to her, then she walked over to the shelf and pulled EVERY Breeze 2 monitor off of the shelf! I thought that it was a VERY pathetic action and am still a little angry about this....a day later.

I would call corp and let them know or even call Breeze Corp. I don't think that they would be very happy to know that they have been pulled from the shelves.

That is just ridiculous! I don't see why they act like the money is coming out of their own pockets or something. If CVS puts out a coupon, and then puts the item ON SALE - then DUH! I think that's what Corporate MEANT to do! ~shaking head at some of the managers~ They can always adjust the coupon so there's no overage!

I agree with KM-- contact BOTH CVS and Breeze Corp and let them know right away!

They were probably taking them off the shelves so they can buy them...it's happened here before.

Please report them to corp, that's just unacceptable.

I agree with the other people! That is not right. Besides, what about the people who want to buy it because they really need it and maybe didn't even know about the sale and/or the coupon??? That's totally unfair to them!

That's insane. Definitely call and complain. They're either hoarding them for themselves or are just being completely ridiculous to not allow a customer to take advantage of an advertised sale. Thankfully my stores are really cool about these things and generally enjoy seeing their customers get a good deal.

Its so funny when you and some else goes into a CVS store and they check out without you. then you listen to all the comments they have to say when you leave the store. Some of them are not very nice...again you wonder why they are like that, right??? After all you are spending money in the store, maybe not much, but thats what the coupons and savings is all about...

Well, I sent an email to CVS, let's see what they say about this. At the moment, I don't want to send anything to the Bayer Corp...yet. I mean, CVS did disappoint me, but, then again, it's not so much CVS, but the jerks that work at this particular CVS. (If anyone is from the KC area, it's the one in Harrisonville) Heck, when they had the printable coupon for $5 off on Energizer, the woman that works in there, thoroughly examined the coupon before asking where I got it. (She really wasn't very nice about it) I told her that I printed it off of the CVS website (got it from here. ) They are just not very friendly there!

that is just wrong..the reason these coupons are out is so that the monitors will get out there..they dont make money on the monitors..its the strips where they make their money..and these breeze 2 ones are some of the most expensive..and they only come with one strip disc with 5 uses..

When I went into my fav CVS tonight to do Soy Joy and Pepsi. My favorite cashier in the entire world is working. He is so sweet and funny!
I asked him if he would take the Breeze Coupon. He said he would, but that they didn't have any.

Sure enough.

None on the shelf.

Call and report them on Monday. I would also state that they are pulling a Bait & switch. It is a advertised deal in the monthly catalog. Not our fault that the put out the coupons 2 months ago and your smart enough to use them. Also no where on the coupon does it say that you can't use it with a sale. I would ask them about this. I really believe our cvs will get in big trouble.

I have a good friend who used to live in Harrisonville... they just moved to Iowa.

I think I know why......I ask my cashier if they are allowed to have a CVS card. He said Yes. I said So you can do the deals for the ECB's he said Yes. I get them all the time but throw them away!!!!! I then asked if they get a discount and he said Yes they do. Also 1st time I was slow in getting my card out of my purse. When I was looking down I heard a beep. I handed her my card after she scanned everything. She said I can't scan your card. I said why? She said I didn't think you had your's so I scanned mine. So maybe they pulled them to do the deal themselves.......

I would not only report them, I would go back to the store (same shift) and find the names of the 2 employees involved. I would report them specifically.

I asked my mgr if they limit stock on these items when they are on sale like this and he told me no. That they order them and they just go fast, of course that is in this area only though.
