It should work out like this: Buy one at $4.00 get one for $2.00 (store sale). Use your B1G1 Q to get the $4.00 one for free. Now you are looking at $2.00 for two items. Use your $1/1 Q. Now you are looking at $1.00 for both items. The only hitch is that the B1G1 may attach to both items making the $1.00 beep and the cashier may or may not accept it.

The 50% off sale doesn't really matter about which coupons you use. You can still use both coupons as if the items were each regular price, but, depending on the cashier, you may either get the "$4" item free or the "$2" one. A cool cashier would take off $4, but some picky cashiers may only take off $2. So you're either gonna be looking at $4 for 2 or $2 for 2 depending on the cashier.

What if she actually saved a million dollars because of AFC...okay this is a wild hypothetical but let's say she was going to bet $1,000,000 on a horse in the Kentucky Derby but suddenly an awesome deal caught her attention right before she placed the bet.......now this deal was so awesome she forgot to place the bet which was a good thing because her horsde lost. In that instance AFC would have saved her $1,000,000 now I seriously doubt it happened but hey it could have...probly not but it could have sorry had to be the voice of horrible reasoning.Anyways back on original topic. You shouled get them both for $2.00 and if the Q doesn't attach to both, as Old Spice and Gilette don't a lot of the time you should get them both for $1.00 |

Sowwy I changed it. ~I actually don't keep up with my YTD savings; it seems like a lot of work and I really don't know how. How do yall do it? From totals on receipts? |

yeah the cashier usually does pick it if you are lucky enough for them not to ask for your card first you end up with the nest deal but that rarely happens anymore

| OT from the original post; sorry. I just wanted to say that I have noticed that more and more CVS cashiers will wait while I find my card so that they can scan it at the beginning of the transaction. Sometimes, I can't find my card readily and instead of them starting to ring up my items, they will stand there and wait even if a line is forming. At least in my area, they are being extra vigilant about scanning the card first.

I use a spreadsheet to track. I could share it if you have excel and know how to use it! All I do is enter the price I paid plus the savings and everything else is auto calculated.
