I mean I wonder how many of these cards the stores generally carry and if they plan to order loads more for this promotion?

I guess best bet would be to grab the card first then go around and get your items for the deal just in case.

If this thing is going all the way until August, then the stores should have PLENTY ... I wouldn't worry.

The thing that I am finding most interesting about the gas card deal is that the included products seem to change every week (at least they changed 100% from the first week to the second week). I'm hoping that there will end up being a couple killer deals over that period!

And finally, for those who are CVS experts: these deals could well prove to be a great way to get money out of your ECB's!! Then again, perhaps that's just wishful thinking ....

This is exactly what I was thinking. With this many weeks, at least a couple of them have got to be really good ones!

Also, does the no rainchecks apply to the gas card itself, or to the qualifying products in the promotion? In other words, if any participating products are sold out you won't be able to get a raincheck on those and redeem for a gas card later...

I wonder if these will be GAS cards, or if they're like the Kellogg's "Gas Cards" that were just ppd mastercards that I used to buy food...

I think this is going to be tough, and become a YMMV issue. The wording in the ad is obviously vague, and so a cashier / manager will be able to interpret it any way he/she chooses. Rarely is that a good thing, at least around here ....

Do you know if this is nationwide? or Regional? I cant imagine them doing something like that in NJ. Our gas prices are insane and with the way Ive been seeing shelves cleared around here in all drugstores Im doubtful on their available stock of these or even participation in the program. I wonder

When I lived in PA a few years ago NJ had the lowest gas prices than all the other states (PA, DE) did something change?

I was going to say the same thing, I lived in NJ for almost 20 yrs; just moved from there the latter part of last yr to TX. Everyone I knew from when I lived in NY would drive to NJ to get gas cause it was so much cheaper. I still have friends and family in NJ and the prices are still lower than here in TX.

I know when I lived in NJ and gas prices were souring all over the country, it felt like it was super high, cause it was; but it was still some of the cheaperst prices in the country. (Far cheaper than FL and CA where I have relatives), Has been known for that for years.

Depends where in NJ you live. I live right near the ocean and come summertime, yes everyone jacks up their prices higher bc they know tourists are coming so locals suffer. Right now I'm sure were cheaper than NYC but not by much gas down the st by me is $3.95 reg. I never mentioned we were the highest but NJ never seems to participate in gas programs like this so I can't imagine it will be here.... I will be shocked.

1. Aaaah! None of my links for printables are working. I'll have to fix them, but probably can't get to it until tomorrow.

2. I don't follow all the links from the coupon DB to make sure they're good. I tried just now to follow this one through and can't find it either! If anyone can, LMK, otherwise I'll remove it from the matchups. Boo. It probably would have been a good one to have!
